The whole point of lucky charm is that the players should find out what it does/how it works. Back then no one knew of weed+lighter, too.. ^^

He means that you will get a speciall award if you load a code from an old version so other people can see that you play the game since a long time.

Well, you load your old code, but you don't get your old xp back, you'll only get a bonus (to indicate that you're an old dotd veteran).
I'm not sure myself what it's going to be. Simple stats increment sounds a little lame :0

Not really. Just a few days ago I had some more nice ideas and - peng - everything's delayed by more than a week. I still need to finish demo and engi, I'm lacking wave 3, 8 and everything above 9, wave 9 and 4 are still causing trouble. Today I rewrote half of my airstrike system because I had an idea how to make it better (another 2 hours without really getting further), bla bla bla etc.

The forum is hosted on a free platform.

Haven't posted sceenies for quite a while, but I want to brag a little
A little bit of one of the new "events". (I've gotten the idea from NotD:AM but mine is better imo )
The enitre city is without power in the middle of the night.
That of course goes together with some new evil enemies and bosses.
Any kind of flares or lamps will shed light on units and surfaces. Without this you're as good as blind. Luckily the marines carry their suit lights with them at any time. Explosions and fire doodads will also be light sources.
Enemies within the darkness are not only hard to see but also hard to hit. When illuminated they become easy targets again.
Dangerous environments call for drastic counter measures, don't they
Explosions and mass destruction never were so present in any dotd before (that's my test map )
Air support drops.
Artillery firing shrapnel rounds. Devastating against zombies (and footies)
Artillery firing napalm rounds makes the targeted location temporary almost inaccessible for smaller creeps or humans.
Artillery firing smoke rounds as a screening device to slow and disorientate enemies for a short time.

I hope I can leave it as it is. Firing about 4 barrages at once does lag a little on my computer - and I don't want to kill players with only like 2ghz. But I believe it's the aftereffects (the burning ground) that creates the laggy-ness. At the moment nothing is really working out well.. the darkness does also have some graphic issues >.<

Just beautiful, the idea is great, Ive been playing Notd:am since a few months ago, and its a really good game, but i miss the barricades... if u could do a town.. or something like that.. or the Dotd ,will be in a city too? cuz it was getting a little bored.. AND PLEASE! no more nukes here ! do it like an item , a rare item, or something but not an obligation after each wave.. +blank
