Can variable chapters be implemented? As in randomized missions every game, so that you never know what you really get. I'm sure we all get bored of doing the same old missions over and over.

that's exactly what we have now... you get power station mission or water treatment...

today i played 4 games... 2 power down and 2 water kill...

How about one paid erh.. worker? Slave seems a bit degrading. For the meanwhile, I'll brainstorm some new mission ideas.
Chapter 1 Missions:
Maybe instead of the first mission where you rescue civs, you could:
1. Rescue the survivors of a helicopter crash(Blackhawk 2 was carrying equipment & supplies that was going to be dropped off for the SRT but has experiencing engine malfunction,they went down! The survivors must be rescued before they are mauled to death by zombies, bring them to an Army checkpoint at an edge of the map or perhaps they will be rescued by another helicopter. The engine failure experienced was intentional sabotage by a Rogue Military Force that intends to steal the info from the research lab in San Francisco and use that info to their advantage by causing a global zombie outbreak.)
OR
2. Provide assistance to a police barricade that is being overrun by zombies( For this maybe you could add a San Francisco Police Department HQ Building? Also, the building could have an armory with a small stockpile of supplies, weapons, etc. If you've ever watched any of the Resident Evil Movies or played any of the Resident Evil games, you probably know what I'm thinking about. Overturned police cars that are burning, corpses lining the streets, etc.)
OR
3. Military Researchers & pilots are trapped at the local army depot. You must protect them until the helicopters are prepped for takeoff.(The pilots & researchers must survive along with the helicopters! For this, an army depot would need to be added. It doesn't have to be very large, just a small fenced in base with a 2 or 3 helicopters that are stationed there. Maybe add a tower that allows the sniper/ advanced marksman to be in so that that he's able to provide fire support from an elevated position. These pilots & researchers locked themselves into an Army barracks when they heard shots go off, most of their Army escorts were killed during the initial outbreak but a few are still alive & are holed up with them inside the barracks. The researchers have valuable Research info that would help out, & whatever weapons & ammunition that are stockpiled at the base's armory are yours for the taking. Medical supplies could possibly be found at the base's infirmary in addition to weapons & ammuntion.)

what does the copter rescue thing do?
it seemed to do nothing when you're down or dead... is it just to help you when you're in trouble?

i meant red's ability to call a copter "MEDEVAC" for 110 mana on the tactic terminal thing... it's a new thing in beta 6...

you get a cloaking spell, a flare, the copter and an artillery....
the flare takes a long time to work so it's only good if you cast it in advance... i should try the cloak... tried the copter when someone was dieing and when he was dead... no respawn (that i know of)

@ s3rius I'd help but I don't have a clue what I'd be doing in the map editor
and about the Med-Evac... in NotD AM which I am sure you got some inspiration off of...
You can drop off corpses of your dead team-mates for XP since you can not revive at all.
Maybe if there's no medic available in DotD, you would revive your team-mates and get XP at the same time!(Using the Med-Evac of course)

There's something else, too. If you find Dog-Tags on the ground, then you should pick them up and click them to send them to HQ. It's a side quest of some kind. There are 5 dead corpses with 5 dog-tags in total.

Oh and before I forget.. I shoulda saved this rep.. but a group of us attempted Hell mode and made it damn far today.. well yesterday anyway Colonel White's team got seriously RAPED in the street by the zombies like... no survivors.. we probably wouldnt have found any remains ect. ect. I mean I guess if we could get to them to cover them it might have been differant but OMG they just died SO quickly lol I thought you said you improved them!!!!!!! xD

well when you fail, it says that the army had a rough time retaking over the city but still made it... so nuking the city cuz you suceed is kinda ridiculous Razz
