Could you make it so the modes are always depicted in the upkeep? Right now its only
normal (0)
Nightmare (1)
Hell (2)
Perhaps it could be changed so special game modes are included in it so people don't continuously ask "What mode is it?" over and over and over and over and... you get the point. You could change it so it is:
Normal (0)
Nightmare (10)
Hell (20)
and for the different in game modes:
Fast mode (Difficulty +1)
Ironman (Difficulty +2)
Both (Difficulty +3)

Could we also have a Cancel button in the beginning difficulty menu? Just in case at the beginning the Red player presses enter accidentally and chooses Normal mode, even though he and his comrades are/think they are worthy for a higher difficulty? It would also help misclicks and people who aren't sure and change their mind after clicking and then regretting it.

i would like to add a tourniquet in beta 9.which is a kind of a medical aid device,"generally used as a tool for a medical professional in applications such as cannulation or to stem the flow of tramuatic bleeding,especially by military medics"(-quoted from wikipedia)
so in game it should be like a kind of a item that stops bleeding temporarily until able to seek a transfusion from a medic.

i like rookies idea about specialiced healing items
also an item that can cure "eye disease" would be nice, since in ironman mode, nobody can cure it without medic. (maybe lets emergency trans cure eye damage?)

Haha. True. If can finally cure eye dmg without medic, would be the best. H8 it when no medic n eye dmg. Forever c the misses. Irritating...

Ouch. Normally fracture is bone dislocated i guess. If wana imagine the bone gt ripped off by bone crusher, would be epic. Then the soldier run around limping IF all bones fracture, guess he just lie down and await his death

fracture = broken bone. it's just the bones might not be jutting out of the skin. a dislocation is whereby the bones got dislodged from the joints.

here are some possible painful bone fractures on our soldiers:
~complete fracture-fracture where bones fragments are completely seperated(ouch)
~incomplete fracture-fracture where bone fragments are still kinda joined a bit(ow)
~spiral fracture-fracture where at least a part of the bone is twisted(yikes)
~comminuted fracture-fracture where the bone breaks into many bits(someone pls kill me)
~impacted fracture-fracture where bone fragments driven into each other(tell my girlfriend that i loved her)
hmm i bet bone crusher can inflict the 3rd and 4th bone fractures

the male soldier will say i love u to a brawny when he got skull fracture
fill the field tech. offense skill lv3 with a passive skill for drone 'nitrogen bullet' that did 15-25% slow maybe up to you

Officer Ability Ideas:
Gas Mask
Protects you from fatty gas. Could make it so it reduces movement speed to balance.
Flash Light
Additional LOS for whole team. Could have a cost at like 1 mp p/sec.
Field Tech:
If u were to switch Phosphorus Canister (lvl 3 offensive) and remove Self-Destruct Droid from Defense skills to Offensive skills. It would make a lot more sense because they are clearly not defensive skills.
Some Ideas for Defensive skills:
Suppressive Fire
Required lvl - 3
Increases attack speed of droids for say...how about around 15-25%
Note: This could really help Ft's crowd control abilities especially with the droid refit if you find it.
EMP Blast
Required lvl - 5
Works like engi's EMP but bigger area. Dmg depends on amount of droids (like laser) and destroys all of them.
Note: This is pretty much a last resort skill. It could really mean the difference between your team living and dieing.
Also I might have a good idea to fill the empty slot for demo.
Dynamite
Required lvl - 4
Smaller area and dmg than the missles but a lot faster to use.
Note: Like Fitality said its good for demo to have a close ranged bomb to help defend himself.
