Invalid Loading Code???

Hi guys, my friends and I have been trying to load for days now (Dawn of the dead B7b), with no hope. I have saved on numerous occasions CORRECTLY writing down 5 codes, all which are Invalid.

I have been using the same username "ReNu" in each game.

All the exp I have saved for are under 100exp, is there a minimum limit on exp before it can be loaded?

I have also downloaded Beta 6 and it crashes my Wc3 everytime.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

Beta 6 crashes because of internal changes Blizzard has done to the script engine. A lot of old games didn't work anymore after that patch.

Regarding the load code.. there is no minimum limit to save and I also don't see any reason why it would not work for you. That'd also be the first real case known to me where the save system continously did not work.

What you could try is to choose a different name and try a game then - maybe, just maybe, something about your name is glitching something in the code generation (the code creates hashsums depending on your name length and the occuring letters).

By the way is there a minimum amount of people that have to be in the game at the start to load/save properly? we played in 2's/3's

As long as you're not playing a singleplayer game alone you can always save.
And even in this situation you'll get a message telling you why you're not allowed to save - you're not just getting an invalid code ^^

Hm, what country are you guys from? Maybe - if you're using a Warcraft with a non-roman alphabeth it could cause troubles (Cyrillic, for example).
Apart from that I have no more ideas. As I said, that is an unusual case.

you could try taking a screen shot of the code, post it here, and I will verify if you are writing it down correctly. past that I am with s3rius, this is first recurring code fault/error i have seen

I don't know how to upload screenshots, but I definately know, the code I copied is correct (since its color coded anyway, I can't be wrong.. I made sure I copied it correctly)

without a screen shot I can only confirm (and i do confirm) that all of those codes are invalid for the screen name ReNu

So I did a quick test with the name "ReNu" and got this save code:

ii8naD-zF4QDH

I tried loading it and it worked, (correctly) giving me a whopping 3 exp.

So maybe it's because of the server.. Bored Aussie. It sounds like many DotD'ers have problems there. Maybe the server handles names differently than the official Blizzard servers.
No matter the reason, though, I can't do anything about it. The system in DotD itself is working fine and I don't have access to nor the knowledge I'd need to fix anything apart my map's scripts.
Sorry about that, but it seems you have to cope without saving.

Anyways, ReNu, you can always play on the garena server which duz'nt have tht loading problem, but will hve some drawbacks like any other free servers.

But is there a way to recover the codes? anyways it is not anything for me but if we actually find out the code is invalid that it was valid when we saved, can we recover it?

if you post a screen shot of the code, and the name it was for I can test it, but if your positive it was right and you typed it right while loading, maybe it was just some random glitch (yikes) and there really isn't much you can do besides load the previous code you know worked

There is no way of recovering a code created in a earlier game you played.

If you are unsure if you copied it correctly, use -check to validate it right after you -saved.

i got another question that i just discovered today from what SoG says
he said that change the order of the username of the code holder can still make the code vaild. what if there's people who wants to hack some high rank accounts code rather than work to high rank themselves? we arn't protected :S

"Fixing" this thing would make the save code significantly larger. There's only so much information I can save in a few letters.
