Necronomicon Guessing Thread

I guess most of you guys found the necronomicon... along with the guy using Evil Dead quotes...

since it doesn't seem to be usable (can't be clicked) and that s3rious doesn't seems to want to tell us what it's gonna do, i'm making this thread for speculation on what the Necronomicon could do ^_^

my guesses:
-Enslaves chickens and makes them your bodyguards
-Doubles the number of enemies
-Summons a boss
-Ends the game (end of the world!)
-If you die with the necronomicon in your inventory, when you're revived, you'll have a chainsaw replacing one of your hands

I'm honestly hoping it just brings Hell on Earth, but like... a wave of Choppers come in and unload 30+ Marines who set up a Base (kind of like the earlier Beta's) ... Something about that seems cool to me lol Could have some sexy cinimatics too... I'm ganna go think about that for awhile lol

u should not even touch that book . so i presume somthing wierd will happend if u use it , big ugly big stuff that come to eat ur squad . Evildead , in one movie there was lots of skeleton

The Necronomicon Ex-Mortis (Naturon Demonto) is a fictional Sumerian book in the Evil Dead series. It made its first appearance in The Evil Dead, and continued its film career in Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness, as well as various spin-off media. It likely takes its name, but has no other connection to, the Necronomicon of H.P. Lovecraft's stories.

Not much is known about the creation of the book. It was written by a mysterious group known as "The Dark Ones," who constructed the cover of the book from the flesh of the tortured and the damned. The pages of the book were inked with human blood, gathered from the seas and bound together in human flesh. In the comics, many copies of the book exist, but all seem to be a group mind, in that all are inhabited by the same entity. An introduction by Professor Raymond Knowby in Evil Dead II tells that the book disappeared around 1300 A.D., sometime after it was used to concoct a potion to return the series' protagonist, Ash Williams to his own time following the events of Army of Darkness.

Prior to the events of The Evil Dead, Professor Raymond Knowby took the book to his cabin in the woods for study, and recorded his findings and translations of some parts of the book onto a tape recorder. When the recorder is later found by Ash Williams, and the translations are played, an evil force possesses various inanimate objects and some of Ash's friends, setting the scene for this and subsequent films. At the end of the film, the book is thrown into a fire, and is apparently destroyed.

Hello, I've been playing quite a bit, and today was the first time I found this book. It says to be wary about using it, so of course i clicked on it, and It said i cant use it. Yet, a little bit later after I clicked on it, I saw an acolyte just dominating foes. So i figured I summoned him. I guess what im asking is what the book does, or is there a different way to use it?

The name "necronomicon" is familiar from some other context... (not thinking about Evil Dead, because it was also used in some game...)
Wasn't it like the big book of raising undead? So my guess would have to be that you could control and raise more zombies with it. But probably it doesn't do anything and it's just made to bug the hell out of us

I think the book lets you summon Necronomicon Warriors.. Like in DotA lol. Or it turns you into an uber zombie with uber skills to pawn the other zombies (and your teammates if you like). lol

I took some screenshots of the Necronomicon Ex Mortis and of the Disguised Stranger a while back, just decided that I'd put them to use rather than let them go to waste, so here they are. Oh, and when I took these screenshots it was the first time that I have EVER saw the Necronomicon in game.

because the necronomicon had infected his hand, he cut it with the chainsaw... that was in Evil Dead 2
