hehe, yes... 10 years ago maybe, thats when i bought this computer and now it serves me again as temporary (yea, pretty relative term, lol) solution.

Hummm, I have the bad habit of calling everything new textdocument, new folder, or simply 1,2,3,...

disorder? nah it's all grouped:
the burning programs are all in one line
the games are all in the bottom right
the bottomright most ones are media stuff, to watch tv on my comp and play PS2
the top right is for voice stuff

then there's the left side... it's not in disorder, it's just that i never bothered to move it around
i know where the stuff is because it'e been there for years...

btw it's windows XP, i just hate the colourful interface, i still use '95 style menus

but the paper bin served you for so long and you owe him respect! You should move one icon to it. best would be "Internet Explorer" - its rubbish as well!

@s3rius: the big ones and some special ones are imported from some free sources - the rest was default.

Updates on my desktop came with my new computer, here it is (WinXP) but it blurred a little due to .jpg format:



That's actually the only WinXP theme that i liked completely.
