Tue 25 Aug 2009, 20:03
Just noticed.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patch 1.24b
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

PC WORLD EDITOR CHANGES

- Increased max map file size from 4 MB to 8 MB.
- Added the ability to store hashtable handles in a hashtable.
- Added GetSpellTargetX and GetSpellTargetY natives.
- Added a new base handle type “Agent” of which many types now extend from.
- Added a SaveAgentHandle native which can be used for saving most handle types.
- Added a JASS optimization dealing with global variable change events.

FIXES

- Fixed a few false positives caused by the "return bug" fix.
- Fixed a crash related to hashtable reference counting.
- “Shadowing” global variables with local variables no longer is possible.
- Fixed a type conversion dealing with operators (i.e. adding a handle with an integer).

Pretty much a fake patch. Most of these things were actually added/changed in the last patch already (e.g. GetSpellTargetX/Y is already used by Beta 7b. Same goes for the map size limit).

I've heard of problems with ASCII characters in Strings. This *might* influency some mechanics of DotD (I've heard of some save systems dying..).

Hmm I would be so sad if the save system went down... then I might have lost 27k exp in total since my old account MrFiendishBat was banned with about 9k exp on it.

But I doubt it. Smile

Hopefully the random DC bug will be gone now.
