Grunt Requirements

I might wanna throw in that it's good to have at least one Shaman online as much as possible. Every hours where you don't have one online is an hour where you can't invite people.

As long as you don't need his slot to be freed to add another Shaman, you can just leave him in place. As long as he isn't abusing his power to, for example, kick people he it won't hurt to have him be a Shaman. He can at least invite new people in case you or the other Shamans are not online/are afk. (Not totally sure how much of the time he's actually online and not afk, but it sounds to me as if he's there a lot)

I know that this is less dedication than you'd expect from a Shaman, but making him a Grunt wouldn't make anything better.

He is helping people rank up? He is helping you make the job easier by hosting games for people when they ask for it... So that we can get done with this problem, and deal with inactive people and people with low exp... that are trying to get to 4500...

Then why don't you step up more often and offer to make games while your gone or are here, or give someone else that is active admin status so they can host with the bot.. Step up Mish.

I'm not saying Pest is the best shaman in the world but he is helpful at the moment... Lord has been inactive for a while.. and I'm guessing he is coming back soon.. but for now things should remain how they are.

how many times can i say that the bot isn't a hosting bot! and you never noticed how he's using a Diablo 2 account?

buy me a 2nd WC3 TFT cd-key and i'll get you a ghost++ bot on line 24/7

lol the roll of the shaman isnt even supposed to be administrative most of the time. It's just to make a friendly environment for the rest of us to game in

I'm going to ask vjain/vajayjay of Clan SAD for a host bot, hopefully he doesn't PMS on me.
Maybe two, a bot that lets you DL and play and one that is No-DL. Also, I'm going to use Omni's military funds as a donation.
EDIT: I might set-up a host bot to host when I'm AFK. Still gonna have to ask Vjain first.

See how we accomplish things, Pest has a great idea... borrowing a bot from vajayjay, and Pest will sacriface his time to ask vayjayjay for a bot!

Vajayjay is nowhere to be found as of yet, however I have created the ZDCHOSTBOT which hopefully works.

Oh Dear god, It looks like I have to manually edit several things in order for it to work. So, I'm going to work on this meanwhile I will search for vajayjay because he's waaay better at this than me. Mainly the player slots and map sizing information and stuff. JESUS CHRIST!

I think Im the only one actually trying to get ppl into the clan (Im pretty sure theres others but i kinda doubt it ) by asking every single nite. I would have more recruits if the people did already have a clan +blank

Anyway yeah Die_Plz that would be the reason why, just show him a screen shot or something with your exp and that should settle it.. however Mish I believe a higher standard should be set for our grunts.. not only based on exp but on how well they play with the clan and get along with its members.

a Xp based promotion is already a lot of work for a single guy with a shitload of people complaining.... making them based on noting how well a person stays and plays with the group would make it an insane task...

the point of the grunt promotions is about having people who can play as a group.... as you get experienced, you have to learn to play as a group or you'll take much more than the 20 games it takes to get to the required XP...

yeah I know but I'm just saying if your playing with a total douche then it kinda takes the fun out of the game anyway.. I couldnt care what rank they are in the game or how much skill they have lol So I think that should be a very small aspect of being a Grunt in the clan. otherwise I dont even think the person should be in the clan in the first place.

Now obviously you wont get along with everybody but if everyone dislikes one person there is obviously a reason for it and if they display a bad attitude during games then I really dont believe they deserve to be a grunt or depending on how bad it is, even in the clan.

well if i don't like someone, i try my best not to ever play with him...
if he really pisses me off, i'll stop playing right away and make sure i won't ever play with him again...

but that's personally...

if someone get hated by the whole clan, i doubt he'll have an easy time guetting in games... and if i get enough complaints about someone, there might be consequences...
