Grunt Requirements

It was decided by the majority of the clan leadership that the grunts should be exprerienced players.... therefore to be a grunt, you muct be at least over 4500 xp (1st Sargent)

Since Lordalpha haven't been anywhere to be found for a long time and that Pestilence refused to help me in any way in the clan leadership, it seems that i will be the only one enforcing that.... i have kept the only ones i got any data on them as grunts... all the others that are under the 4.5k xp required or have unknown xp have been demoted to peons

I didn't refuse to help you in any which way, I just told you that you need to lighten up.

that's what i consider an insult and the fact that you never even helped or came to any meeting makes it that you never did anything...

Well ur demoting more than half of the ppl.....or maybe more than that and btw there are ppl who dont play DotD in the clan

It shows who's experienced in playing the game.... that much xp earned shows there is some dedication to play the game and show that the player isn't just trying the game out, but actually wants to play it more seriously and knowledgeably...

If you want to make a game in nightmare, or hell, i bet you'd prefer people who knew what they were doing... so you'd ask the people in the grunt list instead of seeing all those peons inthe channel who are asking you to start a game in hell...

Since it's a dotd clan this is totally justified.
You also wouldn't promote taxi driver to Chief of police just because he is a nice guy.
Grunts from a dotd clan should be able to play dotd.

than how come theres ppl who never played DotD or any zombie game. How did they get in?

Well Mish, Its alright to be offended by what Pest said, and.. sometimes I think you should once in a while cheer up and laugh. You have some good jokes to tell you the truth but you should forgive pest for trying to be funny.. If he didn't say most of the things he says now.. what kind of a world would this be?

Like Protest on clan it was like five days ago that i discovered tat he never played it before and hosted it for him :/ maybe he was the last? but i doubt he is going to continue playing cause hes on sometimes

Edit: Btw only a handfull of ppl are active in our clan and the other ppl I'm not sure if they even play in like a week or two

For promotions have them take screenshots for at least 3 different games and witnesses so that we know they are not edited.

how about we just meet and play dotd. that way we dunt hav to take scren shots.

Its easy to lie on forums! And most people cant play at our times

I take notes on people's XP when i play now... i have a list with 12 names out of 30.... with 7 guys  that i already know about how much xp they had.... so i have data on about 19 persons out of 30... the more i play with different people from the clan, the more i can get data....

If you play a lot, we'll eventually play together... and people who play a lot have more XP... so the people who i don't have any data on are usually the ones who haven't earned it yet...

joking is fine... randomly saying genital names in the channel or mixing people's nicks with genital names out of nowhere isn't what a SHAMAN should do....i asked him to show the example a bit... but for that he only replaied one line.... that i must be on my period...

I won't start checking screenshots.... play with me and i'll see how much XP you have... when LordAlpha comes out of wherever he is, he should take the job too.... and all players who play the game enough to be considered an experienced player will get their grunt promotion.... it's that simple...

Not playing = Not much XP = No grunt status

seriously, suck it up people. Pesti is in the position he is because he was one of the founders and he can play the game. He's not there for leadership and shouldnt need to be. A little help from him would be nice but cmon his comments are constant and he is always joking dont take it to heart mish

exp isnt that hard to find. And a few of the people who dont play DotD are probably my friends.. a few of them anyway.. I know SaltyTigerMeat almost never plays but he beat DotD with me on his first try.. lol but he is a ladder player for the most part.. as well as a few others who are currently inactive...

Maybe we should have picked an active Chieftan as well eh? cause if he doesnt come back and pass it on or just become active again ZDC will disband in another month and we will have to remake the clan.

Last thing. Who is LordAlpha? I had never played with him at all untill ZDC was formed. Was it his bots? or why was he chosen to be leader? Personally I would have rather gone with Mish considering the basic applications for being the leader is what he is doing right now. lol even Death did a better job considering he was active almost every day till he handed over leadership.. is Alpha a Euro player under a differant name on east? or just a random kid?

Nah we picked Alpha b/c his name is lord_alpha lol, actually i have no clue but when i played him i think he was a high rank or something and we just felt like putting him in position b/c we sort of told everyone to meet together in this one chat and for a clan and he recruited random non-players so that clan was born... Or thats what i remember...

alpha is a good player that seems to have been playing on other games than ours for all i know... he's pretty experienced....  he had computer problems so he couldn't be here much, but he was logging in once in a while (every 2 or 3 days, i was checking it with the wc3 clans page to make sure) so at least we won't be disbanded for that... and he said he finally fixed his computer, so he should be on more often...

As far as me taking leadership, i suck at giving orders... the ideas to help the clan didn't come from me, i support them completely as they are good for the clan, because i'm just not that kind of guy.... I personally think that LordAlpha was doing great when he was on and that OmniEulogy should be a shaman, if only he didn't have to go to the army fairly soon.... also that Pestilence got no reason to be a shaman right now, he doesn't want to lead or do 9what we ask him to, he justs want to play...

yeah but you need a shaman that is just always online and will host for the members, in that sence he is doing something for our gaming community ^^ but this is off topic.

I agree with mish's new guide lines for the grunt thing, it isnt unfair and its a DotD clan so deal with it people lol

I agree with you about enforcing orders, but what can you expect... this is a clan I'm trying to have fun with everyone, yes joking is fine, but how is it my fault when someone else is using my name in the chat box.. because you were accusing me of saying things.. such as genitals. Don't get me wrong, I love joking.. its my favorite thing to do on b.net, because thats why were all here right? To have fun in a game, and joke around with people sometimes. I can be serious at times.. and I can get mad.. but the real reason why were all here is to have fun, not be a hater. And also alot of our members might be underaged but who would play the game if kids didn't play this game? If we were to go public and said "This game is serious business", the odds of people staying are pretty low.. So why not just have fun...
About Pest, yes he doesn't do much as a shaman.. but he is usually active and hosting games of dotd for people? Thats sort of helping your cause with the grunt spot.. because how much host do we have in this clan..
Die_Plz, Pest, and basically you... I only know at the moment. Die only host weekends.. isn't rarely on and Mish, you are on but are always busy or doing something else.. not your fault because your a shaman. But pest is the "only" member that is hosting because he isn't doing anything to help you except make it easier for some of us to get grunt and help you get past enforcing what you are right now.

What do you expect out of most of the members here?? I used to know a guy who was always working for the clan and doing stuff.. and never knew what was going on in the clan... he never played games and he never helped us... So what kind of clan would this be if we barely had games hosted in b.net? Yes you want our clan to be better and evolve but what about you? Just lighten up and just support pest, since he is the only one currently hosting games except when your done with business on forums.

tell me: how is he helping me enforce it? i would really like to know.. because you seem to know more than i do about how he's helping out with the administration...

the administration section is filed with.... my posts... he haven't said a single thing... not suggested anything... haven't debated anything... haven't helped in any way i've asked him to... the only one other than me that posted in the section is s3rius...

so tell me: why is he a shaman? so that he hosts games and play a lot? wait... isn't that something that ANYBODY can do?

he doesn't want any responsabilities, why should he get the power without the responsabilities? especially power that he isn't caring or using?(other than inviting anyone in the clan)
