Well, the ai is OK as s3r said, but because of the urban environment with the limited LoS(Line of Sight) and so many buildings and obstacles, the ai tends to make errors, often fatal ones. The ai could POSSIBLY be improved, though. Not sure.

How about putting up some civillians with weapons. Small ones though, pistols for example. Or a stick. Come to think of it, the entire city has fallen to zombies and the civillians still survived, so they must have had some firepower with them to have been alive until the SRT finds them. Kinds of synchronizes with the story.

there is a problem with a gun/rifle attachment and the peasant Model if i remember .
btw i already saw a modified peasant with a shotgun. (rural zombie map)

- Some civilians now carry melee weapons.

I have rewritten the unit and squad AI to make it cope with further missions.

Especially soldiers will act more intelligent in B7. There will be AI medics that heal injured units, soldiers will use medkits, snipers will aim their shots at bosses, etc.

I might have to rewrite some parts of the first mission to work with the new squad system. If that's the case I might incorporate the two female vilagers. Althought their attack animation is bugging me..

yeah s3r.. Maybe just make the women civs without an attack or just give them frying pans.. rofl anyway! what about altogether making a random civ a militia man, it would take care of the axe thing.

About the female villagers, they'd do fine if they were given minor healing capabilities. Or maybe some buff. Here's an idea:

Inspiration Buff: All units(males) around the female villager are inspired to protect her, thereby gaining an increase in their attack. +^^

What about... When you rescue a woman... she gives you a first aid kit or Medkit because alot of times people get wounded and start bleeding in the beginning... and the medic doesn't have that stuff or isn't close by... Or the females could be medics/item carriers... When you rescue them they give you control to the civs... to the person who rescued them but I think that would make it too hard on S3rius.. Up to you S3rius if you want to use one of these ideas.. Good luck! It would make sense for the first idea... because most woman have first aid kits or medkits at their house.. and its just helpful to people who don't have a medic or get hurt early.

well the chances of ailment on beta 7 in normal will be lower... so it'll be a lot less useful in the long run... also, if people can't survive early on, they usually becomes the guys who die all alone a bit later when the zombies are more numerous and you need to move as a group...

At least give the newbies a chance to survive in the early game. I have plenty of games where almost all the newbies quit cause the medic ran out of CPR, and that was even before we finished mission 1.

well... when people fail to listen to the basic advice to the game: stay in groups

following that, you will survive the first part VERY easily.... it's like you'd say "hahaha! i don't need food! i'm an undead! so STFU game! make me more undead units that don't eat!"
