During the next days, it is possible that more or less strange things could happen to the general appearance of the forum. im try to get some things to work.
these include to implement the flash banner without loosing the background and opacity. unfortunately sath didnt give me the password for the javascript file for our forums... i need to find a way around >_<
im also try to upgrade to phpbb 3...
so this is just an announcement not to worry unless its finished

but for now, i have the problem that i can decide between two options. i either setup the flash banner or i keep the nice background that shines through some forum parts... it looks odd to loose the background texture, so i search for another solution...
damn for having almost no webmaster skills... -.-

Hmm, I think it might be good to move the 'vote image' to some play at which it gets more attention. (The one at the Portal, that says" PLZ VOTE FOR US EVERYDAY ^^ click")
I don't think many see this, and even less remember to click on it everyday.

what style for the forums would you all prefer: white/bright style, basically as it is currently? or a darker and more black style?

Well I can't say I dont like it this way. But Dark feels so _Unorignal_.

I think the the dark-blue style we had at the begging was really aweseome...still can`t understand why it was changed.

Yay for the banner being back. And yeah at first I like the old darker version better then the one we have now. But this white background has grown on me, I love it.

though, if i would know if and how its possible, i would do a switch-button that allows you to pick your favourite yourself among some themes...

aha! great news! i today managed to gain some css knowledge that helps me to keep our nice textures! what you see already here runs entirely without the javascrip that we had over the last year. still needs finetuning like opacity but im pretty optimistic now
