ZDC Shamans

It seems to me that the Shamans in Clan ZDC At US East are relatively inactive, save for Dingdong23.

Z.Min Is so far gone that the bot says that he hasn't been seen recently. The last time that I checked on it, it said around 83 days.

Darkcloud3 Was offline for about 14 days since the last time he logged, But I noticed that before that he had racked up a total score of about 50-60 Days.

Caliking420 was on a lot over the summer, but has not logged on recently.

Please respond with your opinions if you feel that this is true, or if I'm completely off. If (most of and/or all of) the forum agrees with me, is it time for new Shamans?

if you have any good candidates in mind please let me know.

Keep in mind, the channel bot is not completely accurate for active members. Someone has to join channel Clan ZDC while the bot is in channel (which is not always 24/7) for that seen script to be correct.

What I am looking for in a candidate is someone trustworthy, knows how to be responsible, and can recruit interested members.

I do have a few suggestions, although I'm not sure how they would handle power. I'm sure that its nothing drastic like wiping the entire clan from the face of the server, but it could be little things like kicking people from the channel constantly, and/or banning as well if they haven't been given a shaman role before, or just can't handle the responsibility.

One other main point of this is to make sure that the shamans are active, otherwise replacing the current ones would be utterly pointless.

I apologize in advance to those who I have not yet had the opportunity to play with. These are the people that I have played with quite a bit, and I'm sure there are probably other candidates out there somewhere, but these are the ones that I think are able to handle a little bit of responsibility, not take a power trip, along with being thoroughly active.

I have not consulted these individuals about this matter, (except myself of course) so I have no confirmation weather they would be willing to take on the responsibility, or not. Perhaps they could be approached if deemed worthy of the Shaman position?

On a side note, I am aware of the fact that the bot has to be in the channel, as well as the person in question. However, as mentioned before: Z.Min had around 80 Days before his being "seen" was lost (probably when your bot logged off) and before the 14 days Darkcloud3 has almost as many, reaching 50-60 days (60-70 in total if you count after his one log in).

Should you take one or more of these candidates into consideration, and possibly implement them into the system, I would recommend Removing Z.Min from his position first (if not from the Clan), then Darkcloud3, But Caliking420 was active all throughout the summer, and dingdong23 loggs on about every other day (Or I just don't see him every other day). I'm not trying to tell you to remove them from the clan if they have a reason to stay, It's just that I can't see a reason why they should be kept on the Shaman position when they are inactive.

not a bad idea, we need the last few enthusiastic people on battle.net to keep that clan, and that game alive. havent seen any dotd that i didnt host since sc2 is out. and when im hosting, its just me, Aipalm and sometimes Crommus (i can just talk for europe, Zks is dead for sure)

ill be shammy. i play w3 everyday, i got a bot i can throw in. and i know how to stop nubcake. who else knows how to do damage to nubcake?

well if you want to be a shaman of ZDC getting to know the members of ZDC (including the cheiftain) would be a good start

I say you let him become one after he gets to know a few people. Most of the shamans are inactive anyway. people are rarely around to play with. Underhand has come back but that ain't much You need active leaders.

I completely agree. However, I am stating that for being active I have never seen him online in any of my games. I see him in clan but he is in the 7 day period of joining ZDC..

IDK what you're talking about korox. im still active maybe its just cuz we are on at different times. an im still activiley recruiting. and incase you didnt know. Z.min has been on lateley he still comes around more often than you think. inactive members have been removed for the most part. And as far as i know you bareley even play dotd any more korox so i dont know why you're starting ***. You can ask bolo pebsi duke Z.min himself and mass genocide that i'm still acive. know your facts before you stir *** up

Cali, has been on pretty often, Z.Min not so much, he was online last night though.

Lately me, Cali, Bolo, Dingdong, Pebsi, have been the most active.. It seems Greveur suddenly disappeared. >.>

BoloXXXIII is the most active of all of us.. I got online at like 6:00 AM EST, and he was playing.. What's up with my rank too. I'm an LTC on DOTD, and it says I'm a Recruit lol.

Cali, why don't you calm the **** down. Take a look at the date that this was posted, and stop Trippin over yourself. I used the information I had at the time, and lets face it in SEPTEMBER the bot doesn't lie when it SAID (past tense) that you were offline for 45 days. Same thing with Z.Min (except his was more around 100). When you get all of your facts straight maybe you could start hating, but as I see it right now, you should just keep quiet, and get to know what you're talking about before opening your mouth. I know my facts, maybe you should get to know yours "before you stir *** up".

perhaps we all should sit down and discuss this over muffins and tea.
