ZDC Channel Bot Commands

Here is the list of relevant commands for my bot on US West in Clan ZDC. Most commands are self explanatory, if you are not sure just try it out =P

Bot Built-In Commands - The bulk of the commands are here, they are sorted by rank. You can only perform actions up to the rank that you are.

Behind the Scenes - This section includes all the extra features that are not actual commands but what the bot does, well, behind the scenes.

Any user in Clan ZDC that joins the channel is now automatically added to the user database with rank 40, which allows the to perform basic bot functions.
The bot now monitor's shaman actions just incase a shaman goes on a spree of removing, demoting, banning, kicking, or whatever so the individual in question can be easily identified.
The bot now has a script which automatically reconnects the bot to Battle.net in the event of it being disconnected.
The bot now displays when the hosting bot is in lobby. This currently only works for public games.
The bot now has a built in defense to people spamming commands to it.
The bot now keeps track of users in the channel, their activity, and various other stats.
The bot now can host games through a Ghost++ hosting bot, giving all clan members hosting minimal privileges!
The bot will lock the channel if it is being flooded with commands.

No but I can write a script that will shout offensive insults at you whenever you join its channel.

P.S. While you have not been banned on my bot (yet), don't think your actions/words are going completely undetected. Certain topics are just not meant to be joked about.

lol, well a little more on topic. I have updated my bot to version 2.7.1 and officially completely converted to the scripting system. Because of this, several of my plugins now need to be converted and my initial attempts have failed. I will update available commands asap.

Gimli: Commands are updated as of 10/22/09. I will continue to add more as the good folks at StealthBot.net continue to convert the plugins to scripts.

Pretty nice job, maybe i'll go try it when i have the time or something. I"m mostly back into MMORPG and DotA but it will be nice to play a couple of games.

The Channel bot will be going on and offline periodically until friday atleast because of my lack of sufficient CD-keys. The reason for it going offline is I am now testing and configuring a hosting bot! There are several complications which is making this take much longer than intended =(. I hope to have the bot atleast online by the end of the week.

Ok the hosting and channel bot is now setup for US West, if only I could figure out why remote desktop isn't working then I could actually bring the hosting bot online full time. As for US East, that is a work in progress seeing as right now the bot doesn't even reply to my commands

Ok I have the bot online now, problem is my friends internet (that I am using the host the bot) seems to randomly disconnect for no good reason... This could cause problems =/

Ok I have now switched over my bot to a RoC CD-key, so several things had to be re-done. Everything should be up and going now though. I have given everyone in clan zdc/zkc level 40 access.

If you have any problems/suggestions just let me know!

Yes i have this problem also, but its not that random. I get disconnected from the internet between 8-9 at least once for no reason. Its quite annoying...

The folks over at stealthbot.net have finally begun converting a significant amount of plugins to scripts. I have been updating the channel bots as I see necessary. Like always, if you want to see what the bot can do look at the first post in this thread for details!

MAJOR UPDATE

The channel bot can now be used to host games through Guido-Bot. ANYONE in the ZDC/ZKC clan can host a private game (I am still not sure if it will autostart or not, working on that) and anyone in clan can use the famous getgames command.

I just set this up today, myself and Safer are still working out the wrinkles so make sure to follow up on this and add any ideas that. Once this gets a bit more finalized I will post a full list of commands available.

Import Notice to Clan Shamans:
If you are shaman in either clan please check with me before testing a bunch of commands because your higher rank in clan gives you higher access which in turn makes it where you can do basically anything to hosting bot, so don't try out commands to see if they will work because they most likely will work and you could end up messing up Guido-Bot. For instance don't mess with deleting admins or reloading the map configuration... I have restricted access to most dangerous commands but in case i missed any.

Official Announcement

The Gimli-Bot channel bots will be going offline for quite sometime. I am doing some moving and won't have the ability to host the channel bots. The hosting bot will remain online. If you have any questions just let me know.

Update: Scheduled day is this Friday

Well, looks like the channel bots will be down longer than I anticipated. I won't be able to have them online for atleast 5 weeks from this post. If anyone is interested in filling the gap, let me know and I can help out in setting it up.
