We got a hosting bot!

Happens to my bot, too. Usually during first/second game or when my connection is occupied.

it happens once in a while..... i remember a game #8 and a game #26 doing that.....

so... i made the hosting bot autohost 2 games all the time.... it seems to be better for people to find games now... i gues...

but since the bot is still in it's 3 games limit, it would only leave 1 game for clanners to make while it's hosting some more... should i increase that to 4?

if i do, i have to stop it's autohosting and reset it.... so i would have to find time for that...

do we need 2 slots for the clan or is 1 fine?

1 seems to be fine for now .. but as the clan size increases going to need to Open up a 4th slot

I think we should wait and see what people say about opening another spot for clan hosting, till now I vote leave only 1 clan hosting spot. Its going to take time to reset the settings and add a new slot for hosting so, till people start wanting a new slot.

I think we should open a new slot as soon as possible for 2 clan games and 2 pubby's because I sometimes just host a pub game when nobody is around and somebody else is already in a clan game.. gives the option if people dont want to wait for however long till another pub is created or wait for the clan to finish at the same time we could leave 1 auto-hosting game and let 2 clan games go.

yeah... i found that the bot was in lobby with 3 people and no gamme running this morning.. so i took the time to unhost and change the config... now the bot got 2 autohosting slots and 2 open slots for a total of 4 slots

I have set up a personal Warden server on my computer because the reliability of the public ones from the ghost++ forums were absoutely horrible for the past week... i had to switch twice today then gave up when it stopped working a 3rd time...

so it should be more reliable that it has been lately... i hope so...

for the people interested in it: the Warden is a check from battle.net... if you fail those checks, it will diconnect you every 2 mins or so.... so while the Warden servers were not able to answer my requests, the bot would leave battle.net every 2 mins.. to wait 90 seconds to automatically reconnect, then disconnect 2 mins later to wait 90 secs... etc...etc...

so... now i'm running on my computer:
-the channel bot
-the hosting bot
-the warden server

compared to setting up the bot, the warden server was nothing... and it doesn't really take any bandwith...
it's been running all night and used under 500kb LOL

update: the bot no longer has any reserved slots, not even me... so no more automatically kicking players when an admin joined the games!

it was a pain to do and i had to bring the bot down for a while... but i got it working! ^_^

yeah... take out the lines that the guy tells you to remove... and recompile... LOL...
all i learned today was that you ahev to recompile, most of the files in the ghost folder are useless, they are the source files, not acessed and there to recompile....
