and this game created at garena and his name is jas2001

yeah coz i figured it out when i view the replay and
he didnt know how to use an AssaultMan Class and also
he's running out of life all of the sudden

He's a hacker alright, 75,000 xp exactly? There aren't even any Lieutenant Generals yet, let alone Full Generals! The highest ranked person is Spinnentier, and he is ONLY a Major General. Plus, if the guy doesn't know how to play assaultman either then he's clearly a noob, a retard, or both!

can s3rius make a banlist in the game so that person w/ that username will automatically
kick from the game and cannot play the next dotd version

If its exactly 75,000 exp and he didnt know how to play the game, odds are yeah, hes a hacker

i've met some myself... and i made a proof of concept a while ago to s3rius....

as you see, you could hack your way to get medals that aren't available through normal playing means too...


and if you wanna know, i never kept the code... i earn my xp and medals the hard way.

One question Misho, did you get these Medals by simply hacking/using a hacked map? Or did you use a program to modify wc3 in real-time?

I have thought of a (hopefully) nice way to shield the code system from hacks. I'll add it in B7 to protect at least the medals from easy access.

While we are on the subject of medals, s3rius, do you think that you will be able to post up all the medals, their requirements for unlocking and what they do? Sort of like the ranks and unlocks thread, but this time it's the medals and unlocks instead.

My initial plan was to incorporate a readme about the medals' requirements in the map. I have not decided on all awards yet.

Chapter medals will be awarded for perfectly finishing a chapter of the game.

Unit awards will be awarded for outstanding performance of the whole team.

Combat awards will be awarded for outstanding performance of oneself.

Class awards will have something to do with which class you're playing with.

hmmmm can u make anti mh system ?? so ppl with mh drops ?

i remember that s3rius told me that he had an anti-MH back in the days of beta 1 or 2.... but i don't have one so i can't say it affects them... or maybe newer maphacks just bypass the system....

Well, the only maphack I know of is the one from ShadowFrench.tk, and I've heard that it doesn't work anymore. Of course, that's just speculation, it might still work.

Anti MHs should be updated every version. Prevents the hackers from bypassing the system.

Now, now. It isn't easy to create a system that disabled maphacks. As a matter of fact it's damn hard to do so, because maphacks alter the game's memory to enable hacking, while systems in the map are not allowed to access or alter memory.

There is only a single anti-mh system that is actually working and that is able to prevent 70% of maphacks. However it's difficult to set up and could cause problems with watching replays (I've used it earlier and it crashed wc3 when you tried to watch a replay with fog of war disabled).

I played with him the other day. He was really a newbie with a high rank though his rank is 75023 (I think he is getting better). He was loading like the rest of us. I believe he got the code from a hacked map then saved. Loading normally in other games means Anti Map hacks cannot do anything about it. So even with Anti Map hacks, players can just use older version of the game then hack it then save. Easy EXP
