[Movie] My Bloody Valentine 3-D

Ten years ago, a tragedy changed the town of Harmony forever. Tom Hanniger, an inexperienced coal miner, caused an accident in the tunnels that trapped and killed five men and sent the only survivor, Harry Warden, into a permanent coma. But Harry Warden wanted revenge. Exactly one year later, on Valentine's Day, he woke up...and brutally murdered twenty-two people with a pickaxe before being killed.

Ten years later, Tom Hanniger returns to Harmony on Valentine's Day, still haunted by the deaths he caused. Struggling to make amends with his past, he grapples with unresolved feelings for his ex-girlfriend, Sarah, who is now married to his best friend, Axel, the town sheriff. But tonight, after years of peace, something from Harmony's dark past has returned. Wearing a miner's mask and armed with a pickaxe, an unstoppable killer is on the loose. And as his footsteps come ever closer, Tom, Sarah and Axel realize in terror that it just might be Harry Warden who's come back to claim them.

My Opinion: I saw the film yesterday and must say that I'm really impressed. I expected a cheap and boring hollywood remake, but I soon was proved wrong. The story itself isn't really that special, but its one of the less splatter/horror film that don't tell you who is the bad guy from beginning, until the last 5 mins you don't know who is resposible for all these brutal and violent kills. The 3-D effects are pretty well done, top heels, a naked woman, eyeballs and some other funny things flying in your face, what else could a man want?

I wanna watch this with my girlfriend.. do you have to wear 3D glasses too, or what?
I wonder if it's out on DVD, so I can rent it.

Well you don't have to, but in theaters I heard that it was alot better if you wore the 3D glasses, it made the pickaxes that are thrown in the movie look like they are really being thrown at you or something. I don't know, but I guess the movie will still be decent even without the added 3D gimmick. If I rent it and watch it, I'll let you know whether it sucks or not.

As i wrote in mypost, it is really cool in 3-D.

It's not really scary, just splatter and cool effects

ay? it looks and sounds like horror movie haha maybe it is horror but not as scary as

it shud be .

shame, becuase i didnt see it in the cinema and i guess on DVD it wont be 3D

I think there is a version with 3-D glasses. Not sure through.
