is there a way to survive part 5 T.T

question: so far whenever i reach part 5 my team always gets swamped den its game over

any suggestions???

What is part 5? The part where you have to defend the base together with Colonel White?
If yes:

-In the back of the base there are sentry guns, barricades, bombs and a lot of ammo.
-Use ground flares to give snipers a good view.
-Plant some bombs at the southern entrance, often there is a bone crusher/armored hound coming from there.
-Make use of smoke grenades.
-It's very hard if you are only ~3-4 players (eps. when you're playing nightmare or hell).
-You can try to trap the NPC marines inside the base by using barricades, so that they don't move out anymore.

You could also use a Firebat to tank the eastern Entrance, give him all the RP's you have found and he can survive almost everything lol... Plus, if you have a Demo expert, get him to napalm the entrance and nothing will get far enough in to provide much of a threat ^^

btw what does a black ninja chicken got to do with dotd

the black chickens are a powered up version of beta 3 (i think it was 3) when s3rious was looking for a way to kill people at the end of the scenario... he made a shitload of them to spawn forever...

sadly for him, a good defensive position made us (me and a bunch of guys) live for at least an hour... till the moment we ran out of ammo.. so he simply made them a "bit" more dangerous to make sure you don't survive this time

lol when I get to that part, I hide in the very corner and grab the 16 satchels and EC's and sit ON my mines... that chicken doesnt make it out alive! lol

Barricades > chickens since the chickens end up killin themselves, i think my record is bout 5 chickens in a game, 1st one net to net+disables, 2+3= mines blown them up(i placed say over 60 mines acrros a huge area), 4th died from attacking barricades(lol) 5th was a net and and disable and 3 more came at us and well didn't end to pretty.

we did it easily, until those rabbits come that run across the walls ;D

I've found that on Normal this part is a piece of cake.
You barely even need the barricades...
Nightmare the cades are nice and help but if you still have 5 people left you can just rip the mobs apart before they get to you.
Hell I've made it once to this area and I dont think I ever want to go back lmao I think we survived for 2 minutes...

Yeah thats true but I mean s3rius kinda fixed that in the sence that they now stay pretty much inside the first gate the entire time.

but they can still wander around.... i found them going outside the southern entrance once...

well i used to cade our whole team inside the gate and let npc die lol until i found out that we get xtra xp fo saving col white .. . . i find its hella harder to survive cading outside. and TIP : kill freakn rifleman NPC those stupid twats blow up ur cades.
