Part 1: Saving Survivors
You began the game by being able to selecting one of many different classes that have their own skills. The currently available classes are
After selecting the class which you enjoy(hopefully) you are to wait for orders as you are deployed.WALKTHROUGH wrote:
Rifleman: Basic shooting class, simple to use and simple skills.
Machine Gunner: Uploads fast attack rate skills, can hoard in a myriad amount of bullets. However is a bit on the slow side.
Medic: The healing class of which everyone loves(if your good). A good medic is usally required in most games.
Engineer- Speicalizes in speical unique weapons with refilling ammo and brilliance aura with a powerful net.
Scout- Specializes in finding enemies, items and comes with a super useful cloak.
Adv.Marksman- The only basic class which has more damage than other classes, a slightly slower attack rate but makes up for his good damage.
Special Classes-(these require ranks to play them!)
Firebats: BURN BURN and...BURN!!! These classes never have to reload and are great tankers
Demolitions: Speicalizes in bombs and missles. Comes with a splash attack that sicks and kills zombies
Assultman: Shotgun user who speicalizes in close combat range with the ability to increase his shotgun powers and varitey of skills.
Sniper- Sniper from afar who uses a great distance to his advantage. Comes along with cloaking skills and disabling shots.
Tips for this section
- Spoiler:
*If you new stick with the NPC they will keep you alive ^^**Also listen to people with high experience they usually know what they are doing*
*In normal if you know what you are doing you can possibly go on your own to look for items*
*In nightmare you better know what your doing just be careful of your surrondings*
*In hell stick with the NPC no matter what, going off by yourself is sucide, if you which to explore some area bring at least 3 other people with you*
*Pro Tip- Learning the basics of game play you can go off on a tangent on your own and search for items that help you. For later uses if you find Satchel or Explosive Charges lay them near the top of the park for later usage!*
After a few moments you will soon receive orders to pick up survivors. Check your map this will usually be in a green looking ping on your map. Head to the area! After rescuing the 1st group you are given 5 minutes to rescue as much survivors as you can. More survivors= more exp which is what you want. Survivors as you notice will follow whoever rescued them so rescue as much as you can. Also if a zombie gets too close to the survivors the survivors will defend themselves and help you fight the zombies. However they are very poor fighters and can easily die, please don't send these poor men to their doom. After the timer is up regroup with your team and with the NPC.
Tip
- Spoiler:
*Pro Tip- On Normal or Nightmare it would be advisable for one of your members(preferably scout) to go round up items and place them near the power plant or the parking lot for your allies to refuel items and etc on*
Follow the NPC onto the parking lot where they will be evacuated along with the NPC. Durring this time an ambush will attack your team with masses of zombies, prepare to defend yourselves as you encounter the 1st boss which is chosen at random between(Hell Spawn/Monstrosity).Your all on your own now! Collect your rewarded exp and head north!!!
Part 2 Midnight City
After completion of saving the survivors you are now headed to learn about how the city zombies came about, start with heading north(It will be ping on your mini map) There will lay your next cut scene. It will begin with the professor asking who you are and demanding the safety before he hands the data over. You will agree to his terms and escort him, however a power outage will occur and as zombies come about he will run in fear and you lose complete track of him.
Funny Stuff
- Spoiler:
- *This will always happen, there is no way he will stay with you and will always run, the lines maybe a bit different each time. See if you can locate the funny words that s3rius has put in ^^ lol.*
After this your screen will be a slightly dark color and your vision is completely obstructed and lowered. You must head west (thats left fyi) and head to the power plant(this will be pinged) make sure to stay as a team and progress. Also this is the beginning of the new monsters that await you.
Enemy Analysis
- Spoiler:
*Hunters- Hunters are spawned during this time in great numbers(they look like ghouls with blood on them) if these attack you there is a very high chance you will be pinned and you can not do anything except take damage, you must have an ally come and help you.*
Tips
- Spoiler:
Pro Tip- when you hit near the highway's narrow path be sure to FLARE THE AREA, you can easily get mobbed by zombies and gargoyles. Stay together is very important! When you reach near the narrow end zombies will always appear on you and you better get ready to have someone use an AOE attack gun(like Ingram or Shotgun, Nades are probably a bad idea.)
Pro Tip- since the city is dark you will have a hard time seeing, to help this a bit go to your menu>options>video> and turn up the Gamma bar making the entire screen brighter. Just remember to turn this back down when your done with this mission.
When you reach the power plant you will receive a message that there is no such parts in the city, and they need to be flown in. You must defend until the spare parts arrive and will remain in the dark until so. After a good ~7mins or so you will get a message that the spare parts have arrived. BUT WAIT ITS A TRAP!!! When the spare parts dropped it also spawns your very next boss(which is another hell spawn or monstrosity). You can probably defend against this monster at the power plant.
*If your team is very good you can go for the part and take the boss on the streets using hit and run tactics*
The spare part takes up one slot of your inventory and it an item so after you pick it up head back to the power plant. Right Click the piece and place it into the power plant(it looks like a factory from Tinker). After a few moments the power of the city will come back on yay! You will then receive exp for your hard work.
Part 3 Holy Cow That A What Now?
Great job if you are this far your probably doing a good job. Continuing the mission the lights should be back on. Wait for a few moments to get a new message stating they have found the professor, head southwards into the park and make sure you stay as a team. Hunters are still out there and willing to pray on noobs. Make sure to regroup near the top of the park *DO NOT ENTER* or you might regret trying the boss without your team mates. Once you enter you will enter a cutscene with the professor. YAY HES SAVED, O JOY all your hard work is done!!! NOT you will soon encounter an earth quake where the plant boss is upon you and he sickens and rips apart the professor and his body is dead. Its time for the next boss the plant boss
Info and Tips
- Spoiler:
*In Nightmare and Hell a Cerberus/or another Hell Spawn/Monstroisty(god i just wanna call them pudges lol) might spawn and head to attack your team. This is a very fast boss that can acutally out run your ass very easily have the boss disabled through disable shots and nets*
*Pro Tip- If you took my advice earlier during part 1 the boss should be pretty simple. Have a character grab those items and start the cut scene, what you want to do is quickly know the number pad to establish them completely spam satchels and explosive charges onto near the plant. You will take damage for this so do this very quickly after just run your ass off and say KABOOM!*
*Pro Tip- Scouts/Snipers can do this part very easily with little risk by going near the boss and cloaking themselves you get 15 complete seconds of easily bombing. If you do not have any of these 2 classes a firebat with matrix works fine as well.
*Pro Tip- On Nightmare and Hell if you notice the attack rate of the plant completely goes a lot faster so there is a huge difference people be careful
*Pro Tip- When you start to bomb the boss it REALLY helps if your medics can steroid and heal the person going in, despite they may have full health they will start to take heavy damage, and since your Transfusion is combat consumable it heals during the damage process which honestly i have seen it save people from death.
After the plant boss has been killed the data will be placed onto the ground collect and click it to send it away. Your mission is one step closer to being done, but this is just the beginning...
You will receive mission XP for this so congratulations so far to the remaining survivors.
Part 4 Hungry Felhounds Say FEED ME
With your progress so far, its time to take the offensive, after sending the data to head quarters you will be given a brief moment to collect new weapons and materials while you wait. However just because your allowed to doesn't mean its an easy job. Zombies still roam the night and will attack your team.
In a few minutes you will receive message that they figured out how this zombie infection became and need you to prevent some lab test results before they get out of hand. So your next mission so hunt down a number of hell hounds before they get too strong and end up eating you alive.
Info and Tips
- Spoiler:
*The number of players you currently have dictate the number of hell hounds to be spawned. This number ranges from 3-5 Fel Hounds that can be spawned*
*Fel Hounds start off at level 1 meaning they are very weak, but as time progresses they get fattier and stronger and start to hunt down you at level 10*
*Pro Tip- A good way to manage these hounds is to hunt a few of them down and play defense later there are many viable bases lying around that you can use to defend your selves. Such as if there are five hounds kill off two or three of them and play defensive. Sure they come at you when they are level 10 but you have the base advantage and no street fighting.
After slaying these beasts, the zombies are real mad now your job is now done and its time to be rescue the city and purge the zombies but first we need some reinforcements...
After mission is complete your team will now receive XP. The end is near for you...
Part 5 Colonel White and the Iron Wall
If you have gotten this far, pat yourself on the back since most noob groups would have been dead by now. Here is where the fun really starts. After the competition of the hounds, you are given approximately 3~4 minutes to search for new items. However just because your allowed to search for items doesn't mean its easy pickings. There are still zombies roaming about and here come the BONE CRUSHERS. Other than that it isn't too hard, zombies will still come at you in great numbers so stick together!
After a your small duration you will receive a message that we have reinforcements coming yay! So wait for reinforcements to come and eventually you will want to join up with him. He will then request for a base for you to stay at, it is the iron wall. As you approach you will see supplies, unfortunately you can not grab these amazing supplies just yet. Colonel White will then ask for the gates to be unlocked. After playing defense, for a long duration the gates will open HAVE EVERYONE GO INSIDE. Colonel White will try to be a man and defend outside while you can buy time and set up your defense.
Info and Tips
- Spoiler:
Pro Tip- before barricading yourselves in, grab the ground flares and shoot them out first THEN barricade yourselves this allows greater vision
Pro Tip- set up your sentry guns to the edge so you can maximize the usage of them
Pro Tip- Use your smoke grenades carefully (Unless your given an Assultman) the slowing effect is very useful
Info- At this last section of the game zombies will come in the format you will see what i mean at how many bosses and zombies are sent
Pro Tip- Napalm from Demo and Orbital Cannon from Scout should be used for only bosses and make sure you predict the path of the bosses
Pro Tip- it would be advisable to buff Colonel White by giving him extra guns or ammo mods since NPC do not follow the rules of limitations.(Perhaps a bug)
After your hard defending the 2nd gate will now open grab the supplies and repeat this process. After all the zombies are dead YOU WIN!!! Or did you... its time for the TRUE FINAL BOSS!
Exp is now given to you + If colonel white remains alive, bonus exp will be given to you and your team.
Part 6 WTF are those?

Thanks for the support everyone but I still have a huge question in which i need to figure out. How does someone make a bar that shortens things.
EX: You click on the small bar and uploads a section. This would help my guide look a lot tidier
Not Exactly sure which one to use yet. Any Suggestions?

I think this is a semi-complete guide, could i get some REAL feedback on this.
By feedback I mean error, suggestions bonus tips to add to this. Do not just type
Feedback-good job i like it <<POOR FEEDBACK
I prefer constructive feedback such as this
Feedback- Your post is a bit too long and should be shortened. Or having a table of contents with the "Find Feature" would allow better access to sections.
^^ GOOD FEEDBACK

Might not wanna call them Hell Spawns, since this is the name for the medium sized fatty. Officially they're called Fel Stalker or Mutated Experiment, unofficially I've heard them being called Doggy, hound or mutated dog.Info and Tips
Spoiler:
*The number of players you currently have dictate the number of hell hounds to be spawned. This number ranges from 3-5 hell spawns that can be spawned*
*Hell Spawns start off at level 1 meaning they are very weak, but as time progresses they get fattier and stronger and start to hunt down you at level 10*
Also it is also possible for just a single dog to spawn.
Maybe you could make the headers stick out a little more. Instead of
make itPart 4 Hungry Felhounds Say FEED ME
Part 4 - Hungry Felhounds Say FEED ME
The use of the code-tags is pretty cool, information sticks out and makes the text look less like a wall of letters.
Lastly, you've gathered up a nice amount of information & tips for various parts of the game, but it's full of holes like a swiss cheese, too.
E.G. you have a small piece of "Enemy analysis" where you talk a little about the Hunter, Cerberus or a few other enemies, but most of the viscious dotd monsters remain in the dark.
Making a complete walkthrough would require a lot of work and at least several pages, so you could link your walkthrough to other tutorials.
There's already one about the Plant, a list of weapons and I guess I gonna make a list of all zombies somewhen soon.
