What CPU manufactor do you have?

Who makes the best CPUs right now?
And what do you have?

I have A penryn C2D T9300 2.5Ghz and 6mbyte L2 cache.
And INTEL KICKS AMD

Since the Core2Duo series pretty much FTWPWNS any recent AMD processor I vote for #2.
It's quite some time ago that we saw AMD at the top/equal to Intel.
At least AMD is pretty cheat

I didn't know AMD cheated, Hmmmm Don't think I'll support them anymore now.
Used them before. Even though Intel has the most powerfull I feel like AMD is more reliable.

I have an Intel Core 2 Quad, and an AMD X2 and they both work fine... Ofc the Intel is way faster, but reasons are obvious ^^
So i dont know how to vote... Plz add an option

i'm using an intel q6600
simply because they are dirt cheap for the power they give.... otherwise i'd be on an AMD... but lately, they haven't been up to par with intel...

I'm using an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core (2.6GHz) - and I'm pretty satisfied with AMD. Although I can't really say Intel is better or worse as I didn't have problems with my CPU in the past. I'm not that much a hardcore-gamer that has to wring out the last performance reserves and neither I'm doing Benchmarks etc... It either works or not.

Hmm, i wonder, not that i know too much about pc's parts, i know how to make comp from scatered parts, thats enough for me. I remember though playing dotd on my old p3 (600 mhz) well, it was little warpy... until zombie spawned xD Now when i changed to 1.400 (i know, not much but for me its like omg, why the hell this moves so fast, won't my comp explode from such animation?) i guess i have something else, or one of the last dying cpu's from those concerns xD

O.O i haven't change my desktop since 2003. Just reformatted my desktop and it is as good as new XD. I couldn't remember what my CPU made of, i taking a guess in intel with 2.60ghz.

If you guys want to know exactly what you have, hold down the Windows key and press R.
The Run window will open. Enter "dxdiag" and press OK. Then a window will pop up that shows you manufactor, Ghz, Ram, graphic card and whatsoever.

Note that this only works if you have any version of directX installed. ^^

The one who doesn't have directx installed deserves a shot in the face.

i have a intel(R) Core(TM)2 Cpu 6400 @ 2.13 ghz x2 think its a 4mb cache

I use a "AMD black box", also known as AMD Athlon 64 x2 6500+ 3.2 ghz with a 512kbyte * 2 L2 cache

I have AMD Athlon 64 x2 2,1Ghz. Not anything great but it works fine so far so im good
