Ugh, I see lot of bands I can't stand as a musician, but I've been told my opinions can be rather narrow, so instead of telling what I don't like, here's some bands not as underground as the one I posted about before.

Lamb of God
This band has no flaws. LoG makes it easily to get be one of my favorite metal bands. To all musicians: I recommned learing some of their song, their as fun to play as to listen.

System of a Down
I don't really like the two new albums, but besides that this band is also great. Toxicity is totally worth the 10 euros it costs these days.

Between the buried and me
Precision and speed. Also check out their song Alaska

Job for a cowboy
I like their stuff, but I can't really recommend this for anyone who doesn't like this kinda metal.

Not gonna list all the bands I listen to, so here's just couple more bands more popular here in Finland, and maybe also in some other countires of Europe.

Stam1na
Best band evere. Prediot. Lyrics are awesome, but they're in finish so I don't expect you to understand them.

Mokoma
Another great finish band, also sings in finish (you just don't know what you're missing)

Diablo
Finaly a great finish band with lyrics in english. You should definately check atleast this one out. The older albums are pretty much mediocre, but this new one, Icaros, is pure awesomeness. Songs Icaros, Living dead superstar and Resign from life are from the Icaros album.

All these bands are guaranteed to be worth your time.

Sath you might want to try NightWish then they have some very impressive songs.

yes i like Nightwish actually the vocalist left some years ago , i never heard the new one .
Some other bands with female head vocals : Nemesea , Leave's eyes , but really i think Epica and within temptation are the best I ever heard ,dang I was lucky to see them live at paris in 2006

ah nice ^^ I would like to see Within Temptation live.. would be a good show ^^ a few other .. alt rock-ish would be

Biff Naked, Garbage, and No Doubt. lol all have some fairly decent tracks but nothing I would go out of my way for.. however some people really enjoy their music so it should be exposed as well ^^ all female Vocalists.
