If you have some nice ideas and enough endurance - why not!
But let me tell you that map making is harder than you might think.
It helps a great deal if you've already learned a programming language (Java, C, C++, HTML, et cetera).

im bringing ALOT of new players to play dotd, and tell them to join ZKS channel for frequent hosts of dotd, and playing with alot of new people lately, its pretty fun, and im spreading the word fast

I noticed that Misho has a bot up now on US East. Making it Auto-Host throughout the day and night would be a good way to get the word out to people, cause you can advertise the game AND the clan in-game (or at the start at least).

you could then further increase the game and clans rep by making the bot a multi-realm bot, but im not sure how that works at all but i know it can be done. Beffore those NOTD: Aftermath bots started hosting frequently, noone knew what the game was or who it was made by. everyone i talk to now in my clan knows wat NOTDAM is and i also think that they experienced a massive increase of members on the site after the bots started hosting.

those are just my thoughts tho =P

Misho's host bot basically hosts 24/7 I think it has already hosted more than 300 games since he got it up running.
I've set up a host bot on Northrend, too. I guess I'm at somewhat 40 hosted games now.

yeah the bot have been autohosting for a while now.... i would say it has hosted at least 350 games as of now...

off course it's publicising the clan ZDC in the lobby joins and at the game start....

i gave admin of the bot for all experienced players (1st sargent minimum) so that they can make games themselves if they can't host themselves... so while it's publicising the clan, it's also a community tool for the clan ^_^

the suggestion thread is more or less dried out because we know that version 7 is coming out fairly soon... and that there isn't that much that can be added now.... i'm sure that when you release beta 7, there will be more suggestions pouring in ^_^

im still waiting for the new character classes to come in lol cant wait to see something with like artillery or the like lol. perhaps i should start spamming radom ideas again lol

ahh just a thought on your bot misho, i joined a couple of games on it last night and noticed that its set to start at full house all the time, people just dont hang around that long, maybe set it to like minimum of 6 people or something instead of 8 or make the red player able to !start or w/e.

im also interested in joining up with the clan on east, but im already a shaman for TBR on USWest so i might not be around like every day lol, reckon that would be a problem?

if i make the bot start at 6, there will be lots of game started before they are filled.. it will be just as bad... even worse...

i can't give admin powers to anyone out there that is red... they could use those powers to kick people and such... so i only give power to the trusted members of the clan, the grunts.... anyway, i can't give it to a certain color, it can only be given to a specific person...

you'd be welcomed in the clan, even if you're not there that much... we're happy to have more people ^_^
