Smartness and spelling system.

I think it would be nice with a smartness and spelling system on this forum.
Many forums i know has it.
When you write a correctly spelled sentence you get +1 to smartness.
You start with 5000 smartness.
For making a thread you need 5000 smartness.
If you write a wrong spelled sentence you get -10 smartness, but if you correct it to an correct sentence you get your smartness back + 1 smartness.
I dont know if this is possible but if it is then I would be very happy if you make it so.

Yup, we have some really old inactive threads. And since I usually check my posts before I post them, that grammar thing might not be so bad.

i doubt it's possible with this software though...

i see now the site in your first link uses vbulletin software - we use phpbb. and our forums dont support any kind of automated reputation system yet. it has been suggested already and maybe it will be put into practice in some months. there's nothing i can do for now...

hum.... so i would eventually get to 0 and not be able to post anymore...
my first language isn't english so i won't make perfect sentences like you want... so i would keep losing points till i just don't have any...

Actualy noone here except Zombie/shira has it as first language

well, if it becomes possible anytime to setup such a system, i'll ensure to make it as comfortable as possible. none will have to fear becoming unable to post at any time... but as i said, reputation maybe sometimes, but such an automated spellchecking-system as suggested in OP... i doubt the technicians will make that true.

We can at least hope they will, since it would be great if that where possible. xD
