spoofer?

Some reason when ever i try to save a game it says Spoofers are not allowed to save.

if you're using a name spoofer to change the color of your nick... or
using one to have a different nick than the one of your account...

If the nickname has character that are not allowed in the encription of the pasword, it won't work properly...

It usually gives a bad save code (like a missing letter in the code)
tough.. it's the first time i ever hear about a message saying spoofers
are not allowed...

Yes and i think you can't save in lan-games.

i would be interested how they did their save code in previous dotds...

anyway, the new code - i hope - should make it possible to save a player name that contains every possible character (as long i havent forgot one...)

This may be because when saving a code,
The code is set to and account name.
With a corss of to names (thats what the spoofer does)
It may confuse it and act as if there sint an account there in the first place?

Yes, that's a possibility. Slowly I start wondering whether the save code hits the OP-limit when processing certain names and simply breaks the operation. That'd explain why some people get a 6-7 instead of a 7-7 code.
