Cheating in Garena

I don't think there is a solution to this problem...as long there is internet there will be hackers... even garena can't get rid of hackers who do constant spamming and hacking their program. Since its all property of blizzard u can't sue anyone...

It is not hacking, they just edit your map.
You can protect your map.
By the way cheat code need size, the Max size of an warcraft 3 map is 8MB.
So if you add some junks inside the map.
until the total size is 8MB, they cannot add cheats into your map,
because it is max size.

but wouldn't it take much longer to load the map then? In my mind it would be better to "sign" (like you would a word document) then map with its intended size, and when the game starts it validates that the size is equal, if not it does the BJCustomDefeat(). Is that possible? I really have no clue

adding junk is simple and fast idea, but... our map are just 2.81mb if add to 8mb i guess the loading time would be long and.. add what?6mb

Cheating only take up around 0.4MB if i am not wrong.

Kinda feel embarress to say i played revealed frequently to gain some easier ranks in the past but as time goes on it will feel very bored. i rmb i quited a revealed game coz it i could anticipate everyting, plus de fact it is on nitemare mode.

The best place 2 play any good zombie related games would actually be in the Singapore Notd am rm (if u choose to come to the sg server) but its oways filled with veri little ppl.

PS. mr rookie u shld delete the hacked map asap, even having the map in ur dl folder is an insult to us all. lol

Actually, I just realised that playing map with 'always visible' setting isn't really 'cheating' or 'hacking'. If you come to think of it logically, the setting affects ALL players, so that means ALL the zombies will aim you and your team mates! Correct me if I'm wrong though, maybe S3rius made it that the zombies will aim the players regardless of visibility. Maybe I can verify it by going to single player and use iseedeadpeople to observe the zombie movements...

Also, provided my 'logic' is true, it would help if you use maphack (which is REALLY HACKING) but i personally don't because maphack lags sometimes and there's no point of playing then.

Heres my two sense to Slyx's comment.

I do not believe it was ever the intention of s3rius to allow people too see the entire map, he doesn't even have line of sight enabled for team members. The zombies come after you if you can see the whole map or not, that doesn't effect their movements at all. Look up agro to understand their movements. And as to if it is cheating, the next time you playing WITH fog of war and COL White leads you down some narrow alley you will understand VERY clearly why having being able to see the whole map gives you a huge advantage.

Oh and don't even get me started on how easy it would be to find items... That mode completely brings down the level of skill a player needs to play dotd

if u play unfog hell the difficult maybe equal to nightmare only.fogless really sucks

fogless give u sight advantage (allow u find items + aiming of rockets etc, range advantage ( u can shoot further cus can see) and atmosphere diff.

Based on observations, if a player start from playing fogless maps n over prolonged periods, he can't really perform in usual fogged games. Even after he try to play fogged games for another long period of time, you can still see the difference.

Any player who is used to playing without fog of war plain has less skill then players who are used to having fog of war. Even throwing experience aside.

In my opinion their are two main reasons a team dies.

One - Poor Leadership, aka you split up and get overrun.

Two - Poor pathing choices, aka you take your team through an ally and gargs show up on top of your head from the sides and own you.

You don't even have to pick the "right" classes but if you have someone on your team that can avoid both of these you will win. Alimoe and I played several HELL games with four or five PVT's in each and we won just because we understood these two concepts. @alimoe: What was the phrase again? "we take pvt's to hell and back?"? lolz

In other words, if you remove fog of war you are removing one of the KEY components of the game that causes a team die.

There's a third reason:

Playing hell with only 3 people.

Generally results in death because of too little fire power

That arguably falls under rule one, instead of staying together and playing dotd as a team you split up and only three of you try to win.

well, fogless dotd game should be used in training purposes only(singleplayer) sometimes as a team just to understand from where zombies spawn, how to avoid their main route, where items spawn and then making your own specific route of exploring(when fog)... I mean you can easily be overunned even with fog off if you stop paying attention on zombies "they are visible I can easily take 'em out"... I played without fog when I was a noob now just pumping fog fog fog!!!

Fog is SO much more fun den revealed. As you have blind sight, ull have to depend on ur teammates on location of bosses, spread around for items and etc. Brings more purpose to the game if u ask me

Impossoible for me to imagine that anyone would consider playing nofog.

Well, revealed seem much better as compared to all those bugs. Tch, exp hack n etc. Wad a spoiler indeed. Wonder how any1 hu use exp hack could call themselves a man, and lead the team to hell...
