Weclome to ZDC's third official Dawn of the Dead Tournament weekend!

Here are the game modes for the weekend.

Friday, July 16

Name: BK2 Machete Galore
Required Character: Rifleman
Required # of Players: 5 min, 8 max
Required Difficulty: Normal
Required Rank: Atleast CSM (combat knife)
Extra Requirements: Each player must activate their safety trigger immediately after leaving the chopper. One of the players must add the kills to the score board. Game modes are not allowed.
Map Version: Dotd 6 Beta 8b
Details: This will test your ability to kill zombies up close and personal. Any kill acquired any way besides the combat knife will not count. The winner is the soldier with the most kills at the end. This game mode does not require team work of any kind.

Saturday, July 17

Name: Shi no Numa
Required Character: None
Required # of Players: 2
Required Difficulty: Normal
Extra Requirements: One of the players must add the kills and hits to the score board. This will help the tournament coordinator evaluate the teams performance.
Map Version: Dotd 6 Beta 8b
Details: This will test your teamwork to the extreme. Your goal is to complete the missions as well as possible. Your score will depend on how well you complete the missions and a few other details (like hits).

Sunday, July 18 by midnight
Name: Civilians
Required Character: None
Required # of Players: 1
Required Difficulty: Normal
Extra requirements: The winner of this will be the one to resuce the most civilians in the first mission.

As an extra bonus, the team to submit to me the best replay of a hell run by Sunday night, July 18 will receive an award as well.
This will be ranked on a point system I have established here.

Meet in channel Clan ZDC on US East, and find me. You must let me know when you start Machete Galore and Shi No Numa, but the otheres just get to me before that Sunday night.

Gimli what about mode? Iron or Fast? cos in Shi nu Noma one ppl can pick medic ..

i my mind, i would require their to be no additional game modes added. as far as shi nu noma, you can pick whatever character you want

BK2 Machete Galore should explicitely not allow additional game modes.
Fast mode reduces zombie hp and increases their numbers. That makes getting high kill counts easier.

this reminds me i was in a normal game playing as vanguard

i need to know if this item stacks, because i kept using my combat knife and saving my ammo from mission 1 - 3

i had 3 km2000's in my inventory and my combat knife did seem to kill zombies every half a second but i didnt know if that was down to having 1 or the 3 stacking

You got 3 arms? No? Then the item doesn't stack

Thank you Gimli for organizing such a great tournament. it was a pitty i couldnt take part on saturdays shi no numa and didnt play the machete galore (cuz me idiot played a hell run, yeah was fun too).

I would like to thank everyone who participated in this weekends tournament. However, not alot of people did participate so basically if you played the game round you won, with the exception of the civilians. Right now my laptop power cord seems to have died so I will not be able to review those replays until I can figure out an alternative. I apologize for the wait because I know you are anxious to find out if you've won. I may need to pass the "judging" of the replays to a third party whom I trust, I will keep you updated!
