Interesting, but I don't think it will change much for google.

Might not change much for google, but could change something for China. If the Chinese government backs off then it's a first step towards ridding China from them damn commies.
More likely that they'll just ban google totally - which will cause major uproar, I guess, as it's probably the most important site on the interweb except of dotd-stars (we're probably banned, too..).
