Should Gimli write out exactly what the rules are for his bot?

LOL with my rules, i had people sign that they read and understood all the rules and commands... and i still got people trying to use commands that didn't exist and banned commands way too often...Proxy wrote:Aye. tis best to put the rules so people can't whine and say they didn't know.
people are idiots... they don't listen to common sense and the moment they get power, they will think "hum.. how can i recklesly use this power to crush other human beings?"

I agree with Misho. Don't expect that writing it down will help at all, but at least it's a nice gesture.

The point I would like to make is that is that a few people are keeping their admin because the rules are "spelled" out. This may seem "unfair" but if I spell out the rules to the letter I will enforce them to the letter.

I dont mind whichever you do. The only thing i have done in unban Dargo then talk with you and kick about 10 people that cause the bot to run slow. Other then that its all clean for me. (oh yah and a couple swaps to make sure im red on my special map )

Honestly I couldn't care less whether you put rules up. Will it help? no most likely not. But then again if you had admins that could follow the rules we wouldn't be having this discussion would we?

nice burn but in all aspect any other hosters for any other servers or players for that matter if they prove to be an asset to ZDC and other clans on and off the boards, should be allowed to have access rights to the host bot such as kicking out of the pregame lobby against spammers, racists, abusers etc.
but for such things as a ban list, i would leave that to the bots owner in my opinion, send a screen shot to a banlist thread showing whats happened with a /whois of the player to show its not a spoof for people egoing against an innocent player and leave it for the owner to decide, as the saying goes were all pawns in the game of life

Well most could careless if they were written down or not. It was based off common sense before and thats the way it should be. A bunch of stuff is happening now because of that question...

If only more people thought like you, right?
I'm not going to bother arguing over a set of rules for an internet game, because it really is not srs bizniz.

Since the poll is over Gimli you should probably take down your advertising for it.

If you are wondering why you don't have admin you need to sign the Admin Agreement page here.
If you signed the page and still don't have admin it's most likely cause you didn't sign the page right, not because i haven't checked it because i do check it daily.
