There seems to be a new version out... in korean...
i played it.. twice.... to me, that seemed like an alpha or beta more than anything... every item with uses is 999 uses...

I got a sniper... and a grunt guy i think... neither of them would shoot automatically.. i had to use the F key to do a single shot attack... wich was about impossible to shoot anything....

the terrain is basicaly the same, lots of new modelled buildings wich are in the way of the camera..... i didn't like that much...

So i'll upload it on rapidshare or something for you guys to try it...
BUT remember that it's in Korean... and none of the korean text would show on my screen (not like i could read it) so no real tooltips and real help...

it's also in korean, but it seems to have some information...

Well he said that on the other topic you replied on, he said it 6 months ago... so i don't think he really wants to learn JASS Razz

I don't think that the map is even in a public phase, i was just lucky to find that guy who made the game there 6 months ago and downloaded it from him to play 2 games....
He sure knew more about it than me, and even had a load code, but it is way far from being close to be finished, and i don't even know if it's gonna be translated in time for us to be still interested in it...

Well, I have the original Dotd 5.2 map unprotected. But all trigger are in JASS. And I don't feel like learning it enough to be able to edit it.

hehe have fun with decrypting it. It's GUI code, transformed into JASS, then screwed up by a protection and screwed again by a third party de-protection program xD

i just wanted to have a look at the corrupted part of the safe-system from 5.2 - to give better advice how to avoid corrupted codes...

Well, first every player name with less than 3 or more than 15 digits is considered as spoofer.
I don't know all the special digits you can use in b.net, but I guess not everyone of them is implemented..
If you want I can send you the cleaned save/load system (works exactly like the original one, but I've replaced hundrets of unneeded functions calls with natives or simple conditions), but it's still almost 500 lines hell of a code Wink

the allowed special digits are: ` ~ ! @ # $ ^ & * ( ) - _ = +
ahh concentrated code-watching is no good at 2:30 a.m ~~

This map was a poor attempt (but nice concept) of some Korean people to create their own DotD. It's very old, was never more than a Alpha and has no connection to me or my DotD.
