How would it be, if we could see our comrades, and abput 50 metres around them (thats nearly nothing, but it helps much)
and also it doesnt sound unlogical, because soldiers in the year 20XX can have a little navigator, like a PDA or so. If not, i think all comrades should be shown at least on the map, also if they are not seen in the moment, like a transmitter. everyone has one. sounds even in my bad english like a good idea. what do you think?

huh mean? anyway..

I think the whole reason we are not givin allied vision is because it makes going off alone dangerous, which it should be. I mean think about it.. if we have vision you are able to cover somebody in an alley through a building.. that shouldnt be possible xD unless you flare and then magically you can.. its not a perfect system but it works lol xD

*Illogical. It's 2017 it says, where DotD takes places. To be honest I agree with Mean, no way technology is going to develop so far then you can see whatever each member of your platoon is seeing.

or regular pings (like every 5-7sec)

just just say its like GPS / satellite camera real time video feed to a handheld thingy or seomthign then ><
or has the satellites also been taken over by zombies and zombies are using the satellites to track you down since they always know where we are ><

i used to want something like this but now i just dont care tbh:D

having them automatically pinged every 5-10 seconds would make it spam.... annoying pings... i wouldn't like it... especially when you're all in a group and don't need it...

yeah... I mean honestly the game is fine in that aspect as it is. I think Balancing issues and other things are the main focus atm.

Yup. However 2017 doesn't seem like very far off but look at the advances we have made in the last 10 years..

Having allied vision might seem logical, but I won't add that as a standard feature, because it would remove a great deal of tactical finesse.

Well allied vision would make it a bit too simple as it is, its supposed to stimulate somewut of a real zombie killing experience.

My thoughts:

Add in a timed player ping command so it would only show for the player who would need it?

EX: -tlt5
Team Location Timed 5seconds period or
-tlt15
Team Location Timed 15 second periods

but this does strike as a temporary good idea that for maybe medics with lvl 4 (4th skill) or lvl 5 (4th skill) to improve medi com by doing a small ping when a player hits below 40% hp.

huh? I'm thinking about U.S. international and economic policies and I fail to see any

oh, the military...what about the military? most interesting projects started in the last decade haven't seen action yet

Then if u dont want to add allied vission, u should add a permanent allied location in the minimap, with the players colour.

I mean, not like pings, but as a permanent spot that moves... like an allied vission in minimap, but not in the full screen.

What do u think bout that?

why dont u make an ability for scout that he can reveal his comerates for only him for a short period he can flare if anyone is in problems this can be effective when ur fighting inside a building

its just little use for a whole skill....

skills should always have a big variety of sittuations where u can apply it.

Your idea would only fit a specific and not so common situation.

i was more thinking that scout whould be good for the newb games then u just play scout u can easy and fast trigger the points and u can help some ppl who get in trouble and normaly u wont see them but i suggest they jsut flare them selves and otherwise there just to stupid and newb :>
