Hosting Bot

Hey, this is VJain from Azeroth and I'm the one who's currently hosting the NotD: AM No DL - #___ games on west/east/europe. I recently rented a server and it seems I have some spare bandwidth that I can use to host the map on.

I was wondering if you guys would be interested in having the bot hosted similarly for DotD or this new IotD.

i vote yes for the hosting of DotD, i love that game almost as much as AM lol
as for IotD i thought it was still in alpha testing stage?? unlikely to be released until at least beta i think

Definately! IotD is still in alpha phase and not suited to be hosted for public (yet), but I'd love to see an additional bot hosting DotD

All I really need is a cd-key set if anyone can spare one... if not, I'll try to get another key-set.

Can't spare one unfortunately.. I've only got two key sets and I'm running the total max of 4 bots with them or gave friends access to them. Already gotta turn off some when I want to play myself ^^

I'm not begging, I'm asking for conveniences sake. There's no point in me going around asking for a few days to get a cd-key is someone is WILLING to lend me a set to use the bot.

As I said above, I can get a set, eventually. I'm doing this to help YOU guys out so please don't troll me.

You could also said u are the pope , no none have proof about who u are :-)

... dropping cd_keys is not at all secure , even if you know 'a bit' the person.
if any problem occur they could just be banned from bnet and no more usable.

then i think its better to try get ur own key

I like this response better because the last one just seemed a tad rude imo. No substance just a "stop begging" message.

Anywho, a friend of mine on b.net had an extra key-set which he just offered to let me use. I'll have the bot up in 20-30 minutes hopefully.

EDIT: Which version should I use Beta 6 or Beta 7?

In case you're wondering, I had to take my bot down due to bandwidth limitations, I was reaching the point where it wad DotD or NotD and since you guys have your own bot... well, you guy see what the result was.

God! if u could plz do so i really want to play more rather than waiting for gimli-host to start a game or unlikely to see anyone in the server hosting

VJain has stopped hosting DotD about a year ago already. I don't even know if he still hosts ANYTHING.

ay shut up but i still saw VJain still hosted DotD like a few days ago in USWest server and i tried to join and it unhosted :S but ehhh i would like to search everywhere to post something that i really want to as actually no one hosting DotD except ZDC.
