New zombie creep/boss

I was thinking maybe Spiders could be added to the game as another creep. It could have fast movespeed, relatively low armor, a decent hp amount and the ability to climb walls(with its movespeed reduced).

It could also be added as an alternative when the mission to take out the escaped experiments take place. Instead of the usual Felhounds, Spiders would be the ones we would hunt down. Heres the idea :

When the mission comes up, Cocoons are spawned(Spiderling Egg Sac models). When they've reached a certain level of maturity, they spawn as big Spiders and and start roaming around. However, if fired upon when still in an EggSac, they spawn immediately in an immatured form, one that is easy to take down. The cocoons could spawn on building walls or deep in buildings to make them relatively hard to eliminate.

Also, there could be a Spider Boss capable of creating earthquake attacks. Here's my idea on the boss:

It could be well armored and lumbering slow fair, amount of hp, has the ability to shake the ground beneath it causing damage to nearby units, and a passive ability where it would release Spiderlings when fired on( 5% chance?).

I like the idea of the spiders that can crawl on cliffs.
Your ' Egg Mission' sounds like a NOTD:A mission where you needed found cocoons before they evolve .
that sounds interesting :-)

spiders would make it too much of a monster game then the original zombie plot of dawn of the dead, based on the movie, pure mindless humans =D

That sounds like a good idea, but to say something to improve this idea is to add when there climbing walls or something you add special effects and when there climbing it shows rocks falling on the other side.. because without knowing.. you would be so blind sided without a flare. Which people usually don't use flares randomly.. so when you see rocks falling down a wall... flare the wall!!

Yeah i like the idea of them spawning in a group once in a while. Maybe place the team in danger every once in a while.

Anyway other than that Spiders would be an interesting addition.
The "traditional" zombie idea has been thrown out the window anyway over the last few years... depends how s3rius wants this to be but I mean I think the Plant already proves this isnt just a simple outbreak but more like a contained test (Lab obviously it even states it) so why couldnt they have been testing with spiders, rats, Flying Rabbits, Beetles, Chickens, Flying Magical Dragons. ect. lol

-.- definally Monkeys :O nobody has made a mutanted monkey/ape yet that would be so imba to make a Gorilla a Super Zombie Gorilla Razz ( Fact: Some countries like i think India? eats Ape's Brain Razz maybe this time the Gorilla eats Their brains Razz )

make a zombie that can lure more zombies towards you and also cast spalls of somesort which debuff your team>

ok so I know I have said this before but maybe some sort of Flesh Golem for one of the optional bosses that randomly spawn ^^ or mini-ones for regular (stronger) creeps Smile

lmao make like tunnelers which dig holes in teh map and couple zombies pop out of teh hole aswell lol

as you are walking into the forest <> random cinimatic <> tree's uproot and Corrupted Treants come from the woods and attack you and your team. (might trigger while fighting plant or harder difficulties)

Interesting idea. When they die they could release their screams - the farther you are away the less you are effected by it.

Interesting concept, but maybe not the tree people. Mutated trees are a bit off the story. It's worse than mutated plants Very Happy

man the bosses should be more scary, like they cna do skills n shty den dat would be freaky! windwalk or scream dat makes ur unitsstationary for 2 seconds something like dat

in KF (killing floor) the last boss aka 'the patriach' can go invisble for a short moment, can go further to regen his health if he is too much hit (during this time he spawn zombies to have time to regen), and he can hit you with mele or projectiles . More time you take to kill it , harder it will be to defeat him
