Basic rule for street fighting
Mon 29 Dec 2008, 15:38
here is a basic rule to do when u are in team and running from ennemies that are close ...
I saw too many time people running like wierdos while zombie where following them and get pwned due to lack of good sense of their mates.
The tactic is simple and effective if your mates 'play' the game
In this example , of 3 guys :
The first (A) is firing and covering those who are running , he may choose to shoot only fast followers and close ones of the last guy (C)
The second (B) is running like 10 meters after the one covering (A) and cover team at his turn.
Once the first that was covering is on the last position he run and go back to first position , etc...
EDIT : The arrow from the A unit dont mean he run into ennemie ! He is shooting at them bullets ...

yeah, the basic rule that the guy that is the most behind should never stop until he went past at least one ally should always be... cuz if he stops, he'll get swarmed... i've seen it too often...
(with this title, i was sure it was gonna be a spam topic about some methods of fighting unarmed or some brawl )

I think you've made some errors with the picture. I'm pretty sure you don't want A to actualy move backwards,(into the enemies) since the would be utterly stupid. he's suposed to stand ground.

Sorry about that, but do i actually get an award ?? . I totally think following people is better than an actually strategy to street feet, so when the main person attcks they all do.

LOL, that was pretty harsh. Yeah, i think he's suppose to shoot at his current position instead of threading backwards. Correct me if im wrong.

Er no you don't get an award for that. That'd be like having an Army award for shooting yourself (or a fellow soldier) in the foot.
I also think that the Yellow arrow doesn't indicate movement, but the direction of attack. Because of that it is yellow and not green (friendly movement) or red (enemy movement).

Whats wrong with getting a metal for shooting someone in the foot. So totally keen for the useless posting award though.. even though that isnt real.

well that's ok for normal... but in nightmare and hell mode, you really need to keep your team as close together as possible...aChiiies wrote:er.. i think basic rule is.. Kill when u shud , run when u shud , back up ur team if neccessary
so having the guys in the back running and the guys in the front shooting, it stays together as close as possible and you can defend much more easily...

Psh... Nightmare you can ever do your own little thing depending on your unit.. its only really in Hell when this strategy becomes one of your very few ways to survive but hopefully if your in hell you have more than 3 guys left cause no matter how well you operate this system your ganna get rushed hard lol

saving noobs is good for one thing: make them play again
if you save people, they'll feel like you care for them... if you think the community of the game care for you, you'll want to either discover more of it or become one with the community... saving noobs and helping them is a great way to get more people to play the map ^_^
more peole playing, more good players... more good players, more people to play advanced game modes ^_^

I actually find the game much more enjoyable if there is one or two really bad players but they are willing to listen to instructions to stay alive.. makes the game more enjoyable in my oppinion.. makes it seem like all the hours I've spent playing actually have a purpose rofl
That and its a good way to make friends to play in future games ^^

Very true... or because the host kicks them as soon as they die lol
But still, if your nice to them at the start chances are they will ask if there is any way for them to come back... most do anyway
