Change Log - DotD 6.0 Beta 5

Changes/Fixes done until now: Last update is in bold

- Fixed a bug where ailments such as infection were removed too early.
- Blood Transfusion and First Aid Kits now stack.
- If you have the rank-ability Combat Knife, it will now be used when you have Trigger Safety turned on.
- Fixed some typos.
- A player will now not drop his ammunition when he goes down, but only after his corpse disappeared.
- Fixed a bug where permanently dead players were pinged when using the -tl command.
- Brought the item system back to what it was in Beta 3. It was neccessary to remove serious bugs.
- The map ambience is now darker.
- Corrected the required amount of XP for Captain and above.
- After death, a Firebat will now lose his ammunition correctly.
- The first mission is now easier. Over all the game became harder.
- Players will gain more XP through zombie kills now.
- Hitpoint bonus that is gained through ranks increased.


- Added a note to cloaking spells that some enemies have true sight.
- Weakened Combat Knife.
- Weakened Personal Medkit

- Assaultman is added to the list of available heroes.
- Engineer can now refil HK and SAW again.
- Engineer's hotkey for Net now works (W).
- Engineer's Create Ammunition improved.
- Engineer now posseses the skill EMP Grenade
- Engineer's Power Net Mana cost reduced by 10.
- Sniper is now only available for Nightmare and Hell games.
- Sniper's Damage reduced, but clip size increased. Damage per clip ratio stays the same, though.
- Sniper's Sniper Shot base damage reduced from 440 to 410.
- Sniper's Designation now has a small casting time.
- Firebat now cannot pick up JHP Ammunition anymore.
- Firebat's Napalm now increases damage and not attack speed.
- Firebat's Protection Matrix slightly weakened.
- Machine Gunner's damage slightly increased.
- Machine Gunner can now move when having Rapid Fire turned on.
- Machine Gunner now posseses the skill Aerial Fragmentation Grenade
- Machine Gunner's damage versus heavily armored enemies reduced.
- Demolition's damage slightly increased.
- Demolition's Rocket damage increased.
- Demolition's Satchel & Expl. Charge mana cost increased.
- Demolition's Rocket mana cost increased.
- Scout's designation now has a small casting time.
- Scout now posseses the skill Orbital Cannon.
- Rifleman's Rifle Grenade slightly weakened.
- Medic's Fibrin Bandages changed.
- Medic's Transfusion health restoration increased by 15.
- Medic's Transfusion cooldown increased by 5 seconds.
- When a medic uses a First Aid Kit, he heals 45 additional hp.

- Marksman is now unable to use the M109 .50 cal SAR.

- Hitpoints of bosses slightly reduced for Nightmare and Hell mode.
- Hunter's pin now deals more damage per second, but lasts only about half as long as before. The damage depends on the difficulty.
- Randomized the appearance of some bosses.
- Mutated Hounds will now require more time until they have gained full strength, but are more powerful also.
- Hunters have no true sight anymore.
- Reduced the number of Bone Crushers for hell mode.
- Random Locust Swarm appearances added.
- Lurkers now cannot attack explosives anymore.

- Damage of Bleeding and Infection increased.

- Number of medical items slightly decreased.
- Medkit now has 100% chance to cure bleeding.
- Antidote now has 100% chance to cure infection.
- First Aid Kit's health restoration reduced by 15.

- Added a class-weapon for Marksman and Assaultman.
- Increased the capacity of all secondary/primary weapons.
- Item tooltips now contain data about max capacity.
- Cooldown of revive reduced.
- Damage and cooldown of Shotgun increased.
- Cooldown of Burst-fire weapons increased.
- The Revival Kit can now be used by every hero. Medics are most efficient, though.
- Weakened Spectra Armor's damage reduction ability.
- All armors slightly weakened.
- Some Revival Kits will now spawn.
- Additional ammunition will spawn on Nightmare and Hell mode.
- Explosive charges now deal more damage.

no it's unlocked with rank xp like the Firebat and the other guy... the advanced markman or sniper, i don't remember....
