heard about that your working at next dotd and read about selling suggest.
came think of if u culd make a vendingmachin in the bobs guns place where u buy whit points.
like higer ranked players culd have pointcard,each kill add points and bosses gives more.
and higer ranked culd have like 2x pt-kills. and higer ranked culd unlock better items.
somthing that culd be sold is armor, amo, maybe weapons, flare medcit and a reviving kit for beginers,
a rev kit that can be used whitout a medic but have 50% sucses and if suscesed there will be some negative
buff like frakture,bleed or somthing that till make the dead one to think "why dindt we have a medic".
allso an upggrade machin whit like 20% sucses toodube efekt item.like a balistic vest gives 5 armor it will give 10.
also that wold cost higth pt and each time sucses will increas chanse of destryod item.while unsusces make nothing.

ps maybe comando rank skill that allow supplydrop for those hard situation in the end where u run like an idiot just for amo.
been in sush situation they tkers just for amo

Not that it would be gay city, but the zombies came and abducted all women and use them as breeding machines for their evil plans of world zombification - uhh did I tell too much o_0 (well, actually the female model doesn't have any attack animation, and due to some reasons civilians need to have an attack..looks a little odd..might add some.)

I put the selling thing at the end of my to-do list, but I'll definately keep the vending machine in mind - reminds me of Bioshock - And I like the idea of upgrading the items.

Ammunition supplies probably won't be a problem anymore once the real missions are implemented. Atm I often notice that there's even too much ammo in the beginning.

btw about civilianc attacking back.it is realy anoyng, 1 sec u got them behind your back. next theyr attacking the fato and dies -_- .cant they be more like the scientist that runs away like a little girl?

- The convoy will now wait at certain points to let stay soldiers or civilians catch up.

ahh totally agree on having certain classes be rank sensitive, very good .

on that note, if i could suggest making the medic class one of those rank sensitve classes as well, i mean to have some new person running around with ( in my opinion) a key class totally sux. and have been in games where said new people just randomly pick the medic right off the bat , and not have the slightest clue as to wtf to do with them.

in the millitary i believe medics have to attain the rank of corporal first and there assistants have to be prolly two ranks lower. idk just an idea at anyrate.

yeah that's true... as a Firebat, i had trouble having to go back a while to kill enemies attacking my following civilians... cuz they are moving with me barely in my shooting range, so i can'T really attack enemies without having to backtrack all the time...

for a new class i througt the plasma soldier can be a good thing we are in 2017 and it largy possible army give some plasma gun to their soldier (unlock this class to first sergent) for the power i think he can have Soldier's training (it can be survival skills like bleed to stop hemorrhage i will think to the 4 other lvl of this power), Plasma training (the soldiers have the ability to know his gun on the finger it's give to him +5 dmg, +10% speed attack , and +50 range each lvl) , shooting of dam (with his plasma gun soldier shoot a large bowl of pure energie who become divided in a lot of little bowl into a large area it work like mine and slow the ennemy by 75% when they are in the aoe (it dont do dmg) for 30 sec since the mines is activated or 180 sec if not activated and for the last power ,plasma armor (the plasma soldiers his using the pure energie of his gun to do a shield on him )

for the stats : 330 hp at begin
6 to all stats
1000 range
50-55 attack
fast attack

it just ideas so if you like the idea say and i develop it im open to critic +^^

Do you really want people to play without medic until reaching corporal?^^ DotD is not very popular, in many games there is few to no experienced players. And no one guarantees that the corporals+ even chose medic.
Such a important class should be available all the time, I believe.

@dragoon
Right now, the new missions end after the destruction of the man eating plant. Further missions are yet to come.

@Phoque
A soldier firing with plasma is not a bad idea, though his skills need to be chosen carefully. I wouldn't want a class that replaces another (in this case rifleman, I guess) once you reach the required rank for it.

abot new classes ive been wondreing of a technican.
suggested skills wold be:
AA turret: only air cause the engi turrets taik one at a time and air easaly destrys it, so a suporting turret.
Generator: a generator that slowheal nearby soldiers in AoE, at maxed giving less mana.mostly for helping those reinforment.
Repair: yes wold like to taik this back too be ablee repairs on turrets AA and engis also for generator, and for next skill.
Combatbot: sorry culd´t come to think on a good name but you people sure does. anyway its a techinkan skill(like those medic skill for antidote)
that able the technikan too buld a robot ready to serve. it will start as weak but as more skillpt will make greater robots. also wold make mostly like a main weapon for the technikan.and maybe we culd decide betwen
A: a slow but strong whit endurance, tanker thats mele(melee to balance it)
B: a faster atkspeed but low dmg. ranged low endure( once again balance)
C: a slow grenade launch whit medium endure and avarge or below atkspd
or D: s3ruis use his fantasy too make an ultimate one +eyebrows

are the medal system activated? cuz i got a guy who said he got the message that he got a medal, but it never showed in the medal list for his name...

also the "-team" command is bugged, out of 4 people in my team last game, i didn't have a class showing, the 2nd guy had my class, the 3rd guy had the 2nd guy class and the last guy didn't have any...

and a team with firebat that had a recharge pack, advanced flamer and a lot of ammo can hold out pretty long in the generator's place... we survived 46 mins (with the plant dead, off course) without any problem.. till I (the firebat) ran out of ammo... then we got pwned... we even had the 5 teams of marines come up and mostly die from creeps...

Hehe.
Team command is fixed (is already in the change log).
That Plant abuse is fixed (also stated in the log ^^).

Medals are somewhat active. There are only two that can be earned right now. First Strike and Veterancy. The person that talked to you probably got the Veterancy (you receive it when you -load2 a code with at least 4k xp). In order to keep the medal, the person needs to save his code and load the new code via -load.
I'm making a small description for every medal and how to get it, btw. Will be added later.

There's also the Lurker now. An enemy that burrows underground and attacks nearby players. It's rather annoying when trying to camp.

Fixed the thing with the Targeting Assistant, btw.

nah the medal he said he got was "recon" or somethign like that... he was a scout, but i never got to verify it because it didn't show up anywhere else than on his screen...

so i'll get that medal pretty soon (approaching 4k xp) Smile

Then he simply lied. Recon Medals cannot be gained at the moment. In fact, it doesn't even exists. It's just a name on the multiboard.

Btw, the veterancy medal is for those who rached 4k xp in beta 2, not in beta 3 =)

Oh and the mission after the plant will require you to move around anyway, so no camping.
