Owh yea...mr psychiatrist.May I know how you guys make ur way through the 15 waves..cuz I will always end at wave 10 no matter what...n my level is only 42.Oh ya...another thing,do you guys mind sharing your experience in playing this DotD...?

Well,I want to know whether the method I am playing is right or wrong,as well as knowing other strategies besides my lame one. My strat goes like this:

1 tanker in front of base,1 back of base to ensure that the barricades are not harmed for later waves

When boss comes,the lowest hp will lure him while others run for items for restocking.

Given the time,engineer can rebuild back base and also fortify the defences for extreme waves.

Scout will scout around during waves incoming to allocate items for faster search as the creeps will not bother about him/her.

Well in the 5.2 version I played there was only 10 waves. But your strat seems fine, but I miss the operative (the best hero imho) And the demo can be quite useful aswell.

But a good engineer and a decent grunt can usually win you the game.
And another important part is to find all items quickly, preferably before the second wave.

yep, thats basically a good strategy. best is if you have a medic or an operative as tanker as they can handle best with a huge crowd of enemies... me for myself prefers a medic with complete set of armors, cz you will have often the situation that the medic must run fast to a hurt/poisoned soldier - even if this way leads through mass of enemies Wink

and there have always been 10 waves (maybe there were 15 on dotd3.... i never played it ^^ ) but i think those who say something are mixing that up with notd Wink

Yea...I am the usual tanker in front(operative) and we have no medic and no grunts,but we are used to surviving till wave 10 but what killed us wasnt the creeps but the lag....hehehe. Yup..being an operative is fun especially when you have your shotgun. But from what I have came up with was that a demolition will be really useful whn it comes 2 wave 10 cuz the creeps will swarm in seconds.Well.I guess my strat did work out pretty good...xD

Dont u think tht it will b better if dotd were to have some missions besides pumping leads into zombies butt?Maybe like saving buildings or civillians..?It somehow adds more kick to the intencity xD

i'm having troubles saving my exp,
i type -save
yet in the next game i play it always everytime, says invalid code...
anyone suggest why this may happen?

i tried so many times saving, and then next game trying to load, but it just doesn't work.

Hey guys, I'm having this problem.. I'm trying to follow your advice, but everytime we reach wave 1 boss.. he always destroys our front barricade.. I think it might have something to do with the timing when we run away from the base to lure him out... anyone any suggestions?

Oh and for the tanker in front of the base, where does he have to stand? Right at the entrance of the base? Or in front of the barricade? Or slightly away from the front barricade? I guess to be a tanker you need evasion right?

When the boss comes, you have to run out of the base. And if some of the barricades are damaged, kill them, and he will go after you instead.

The medic is an awsome tanker, with its evasion and aura and self heal and some armos it can take quite alot of damage. But you don't really need a tanker, just a good engineer. SInce the creeps will kill the barricades first you don't need to block the entrance.

My friend's code doesn't work no matter what. He tried changing names to no avail. His code is always in XXXXXX-XXXXXXX while mine is XXXXXXX-XXXXXXX, 6-7 and 7-7. Can anyone please help him?

But fear not! We are making our own DotD version with a better savecode, you can download the Bea versions from somewhere in this forum.
