Some ideas i like to see later in dotd.

Quests:

What i like to see in the future about the mainquests is instead of adding more, changing some parts of the story lines to a random taken one. So like you have the plant quest already random taken. The Blackout and the sewer works.
It might need a few creative minds but it will make dotd much more intresting and longer enjoyable to play without longer the game even more.


Quest change:
instead waiting 5 minutes for the ship to arive you could make a switch at the bottom of the harbor. this harbor switch will be south of the harbor (near the waters)
You can sprawn the little or big brother monstrious from there so they have to face it.
i think this will reduce the maximum time of the quest which i think much people think its to long.
always wait till you can continue your quest is anoying.


Helicopters:
There should be a parashute model added so marines so they can be dropped out of the helicopters.
also an excample of the lima secure hellicopter quest.
For some reason those 2 places need to be secured while other dropsouts from the 4th army are not needed to secure.
Make the 4th army be dropped out the helicopter.

7th army cant since they have equipment with them.


Terrain: I like to see the south east corner more useable.
its ver well made but u cannot use it for anything.
Also this gate blocking the way. Perhaps make it so only demolishen may blow up this gate?
with antitank missle perhaps or else a rpg.


Tooltips:
For some abilities its not sayen what exacly the bonusses are.
I like to see how worthy an ability is so i know wether how usefull it is.
Excample for Marksman -> Concentration: it says it gives crit to the team but i like to know how much.
if displayed well you can also discuss wether its to weak or to strong.

Hope this is usefull.
mby i come with more ideas in the future.

1. think realistic. would you wanna parachute into a zombie infested city in the middle of the night where you can't even see the ground before your chopper lands? besides unless you are super experienced and there is no sudden gush of strong wind you will most probably not land at the same area. Then you have to face a zombie horde by yourself o.O

2. That gate can be blown away by artillary and that church has been disturbing me for months now because of that bible

i was more thinking that this helicopter that lands takes more time and attraction but i guess its not worth changing then.



Some other idea for Napalm Firebat
Making the napalm not stack on the floor but on the creeps.
if u hit a creep within ***small*** aeo the creeps will burn fire and take dps. (perhaps lower the duration time to 1,5 with 0,5 per dmg interfal so it balances)

You can create the buff on creeps. so u dont have to buff the ground which s3r mention before which whould lagg to much.

You can also put some side effect on it. minor burn dmg on enemy hit.. if the creep comes near u while burned. or aeo fire dmg (minor)

not sure wether its worth changing but it might be an idea but i think its realistic.

You know, zombies can be stopped with axe blows to the head, chainsaw attacks to the neck, shotgun blasts to the face, and stakes driven through their chests.
The interesting thing is that all of these methods work on normal people, so there`s no need to learn a new set of skills.

Madigans Medic deals more dmg than his Riflemen. Idea: Reduce Medics damage by 2-2 (you could also just give him JHP instead of AP), but also reduce cooldown on his transfusion and make that he uses it earlier, not when someone is nearly dead. (Maybe when someone near is @ 50-60%?)

Machine Gunner's "Ammunition Feed" is giving unclear information.

Change MGs Fire Support damage increase from 10/5/5/5/5 to 7/7/6/5/5. That way people dont feel loosing too much of its use, when leveling it, and encourage them more to get it to level 3 for the air grenade. Besides, it has more of a constant increase like the other skills, that increase constantly.

Civilians are not allowed to enter the helicopter with a blood smeared wood axe. They are asked to drop it before they enter.

Increase the spawn of the Red Butcher Zombie. He is just too awesome, but sadly rarely seen.

Rank requirement for Scout.

First Mission should still give exp, even tho not a single Civilian survives. Maybe get the Mission Failed text, but then still get the exp for whoever got into the helicopter. (How many soldiers managed to survive of Madigans team?).

Make turning off the Water supply a side mission, that is completed after getting Agent Orange to that Water Station. That way people are still rewarded for all that running that mission took them, when they die on the way to the Giant Plant Monster, or are killed by it.
Same thing for the alternative mission. Make the darkness mission a side mission, that is completed when turning on the power station.
