Good idea all in all. I might add that. Though low health means that it'll be picked off within a second. And high health means that it'll slaughter you if you meet them alone^^

I don't think much of that class concept. Just look at the skills:
Make heal items
Area heal
Heal
Heal special injures.

Sounds pretty boring, huh? Not only are the last two spells already covered by the Medic, but (esp. without a default attack) it's going to be dead boring to play with. That's the reason why so few people like playing medic (imo Medics popularity increased a nice tad after he got Deagle..)

The Medic himself is pretty important already. More importance might be counter-productive. He's already the most important unit on NM/Hell. Duration is already at 5 or 6 minutes anyway. I don't remember many times where infection actually wore off instead of being healed.
Might be a nice idea of adding another, more powerful infection for mid/late game which requires fast treatment.

S3R well there is one attack that kills both trees and units.. It would just need to be heavily modified for a "Chainsaw"

Maybe can add another ...

ranged mob: Beetle

Ranged mob with small aoe splash attack. Eating lot of decomposed infected bodies mutated even the harmless beetle.

Skill: Armour with increasing armour with every continous hit (stacking maybe till a limit). Requires few high damage hit to kill instead of firing lot of bullets at it.

Sounds like a bit more of uncommon to boss type monster.


and flying ones:

Mutated Crows (crow model)/ Flying horrors (Harpies model)

Light to moderate hp

Skills: Contagious infections. Victims that are hit will suffer from infections/diseases n likely to spread to nearby allies. Appearance may have the disease cloud from pudge, but now from the soldiers that are being hit.

Increase a bit of ranged/flying mobs Smile hehe

n of cus the primary victim of contagious infection cant be treated with antidote while suffering effect of infection, but require a bit of time for effect to wear off (can use heal stuffs for himself) . Therefore the unlucky dude need to stay a distance away from team mates Very Happy

Infected SRT soldiers (Space Fel Orc model)

Skills: critical hits, carrying standard issued SRT items like vests etc

there was only one time when there was a complication in the code system and s3rius provided a -load2 command (or something similiar) so old experience could be loaded. But i think that was way back between beta 2 and 3.

Something like this may be used again when the medal system gets finalized/implemented
