This thread contains the information for my hosting bot that is currently on US West, US East, and Europe. To make the admin listing easier for me, I will post all the lists here.

Team Killing: This will not be tolerated. If someone tk's you:

  1. Save the replay
  2. Send me the replay at tkreports@dotd-stars.com
  3. I ban them from my bot, simple

Bans: An admin has the right to ban someone, but proof of the ban must be submitted to tkreports@dotd-stars.com. Because this is apparently unclear, an admin DOES NOT have the right to remove a ban. ANY ban that you feel should be removed must be cleared by myself. If you ban someone and I do not receive a replay, the ban will be removed and loss of admin will result on the person who executed the ban.

I am posting this instead of editing because I want people to read it.

Just incase you don't know, when I ban someone from my bot there is a reason for it. I do not just ban for fun.

Admin's on my bot DO NOT have the right to remove a ban because they want to... ANY ban that you wish to have removed MUST be cleared by me and me alone.

I am taking my bot offline while doing various upgrades to it, including the addition of maps.

Edit: Bot is now back online. I changed to GHost One and added more maps for the bot to host =P

It has now been officially one month since I started hosting this bot! The official count of hosted games is 460 games for that month, though it is likely to be far more than that for several reasons.

viva la Dawn of the Dead!!

Is there a list of current rules? The one on the Press seems outdated.

The rules on the press apply to Misho-HOST, not to my bot. So far I have been removing and adding admin as I see fit. But since you asked, I will start a poll here on the forum. If enough people wish for me to spell out exactly what my rules are I will... But you should realize you are prolly better off without me doing this.

If think to yourself "I wonder if this would cause me to lose my admin", then you probably shouldn't do it. If that thought never crosses your mind then you are probably fine.

I opened a poll about this, the verdict of the poll will decide whether I actually spell out rules. But like I said, if you make me do that things will be MORE strict than they are now

I apologize for the poor performance and down time on my bot yesterday. It turns out my friend who is letting me host was doing all sorts of things with his internet yesterday, including setting up a custom firewall. This promptly blocked all warcraft 3 inbound connections.

This is now fixed, and you can join my bot now.

The bot is now on a dedicated server which should have a far more reliable connection then I previously had.

Upgrades:
  • The operating system is now Windows Server 2008
  • It is connected directly instead of wireless
  • It is now far easier to make changes to the bot because of its location
  • The computer is a lot faster it is hosted on

Well because I do not know what the speed of the bandwidth, through his ISP, was I cannot say for sure my internet is faster but I do know it is more reliable.

Do you remember how I suggested the rules? Well, did that include implementation of an exp requirement? Because I can't keep codes, or can't read my own handwriting lol.

Can you not keep your codes solely because you can't read your own handwriting? Not my fault

People voted for specific rules and they have now been given. Don't come complaining to me.

So take a screenshot. Then you don't need to Read your own hand writing and it takes two seconds to do

A great, and that way you can't lose the piece of paper you wrote your code down on.
